i had $40  i wanted fire elelbem the game mentioned in the title and Zone Of Enders HD.(i loved the first game.its my fav and the only ZOE i played so far)  anyway it gets repetive and boring quick.like in gameinformer i had the same thoughts,how the dungens change instaed of finding and feeling something new when you enter you get a terrible sense of what ever tht word was. i really wish i bought fire Elelbem now does anyone think so as well?

-shrug-The Mystery Dungeon games aren't for everyone, I guess. Also, of course the dungeons are repetitive - they're randomly generated. That's how it's always been in every Mystery Dungeon, dating all the way back to the Dragon Quest one for the SNES.

Believe me, I LOVE Mystery Dungeon 2, as well as the first game. But I won't buy Gates of Infinity. Here it comes out tomorrow, exactly on my birthday, yet I decided not to buy it. I don't think is a bad game, I tried the demo and I like it, but I've seen the game a bit and I don't think it can compete with the other 2, specially since there are fewer Pokémon.

 

What I think is that they made this game to see if the system worked on the 3DS, because they had to change the graphics and mechanics. And I think in 1-2 years they'll make another one, much better than this one and with the 6th generation.

I need to play the older Mystery Dungeon games before this one(If I can find them that is)

I never got the chance to play Gates to Infinity, but I already heard that it isn't as good as the previous games.

 

So even if I had a 3DS, I wouldn't get it.

I played the Darkness Mystery Dungeon game. It was okay, I nearly finished it, but couldn't get past the final area.

 

Would not recommend the series to anyone.
