It is meant for competitive training and It'd be wonderful if we can host a KH13 tournament for everyone to participate! For those who want to join please create an account here and create your team(s):

THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD STARTING FRIDAY TO THE END OF MONDAY, PLEASE DISCUSS WHAT TIME BOTH YOU AND YOUR OPPONENT SHOULD BATTLE. THE REASON WHY I CHOSE THIS FORMAT IS BECAUSE OF SOME OF THE COMPETITORS THAT ARE IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES.

~OU Rules~
 

 

 

 

• A player may not use any Moveset that is not obtainable by the Pokémon.
• Using both a Pokemon with Drizzle and a Pokemon with Swift Swim on the same team is banned.
• Only Pokemon that have been proven to have a released Dream World ability will be allowed to use that ability.
• Species Clause: A player cannot have two of the same Pokémon on their team. For example, a player cannot have two Koffing on his or her team.
• Sleep Clause: A player cannot put two or more different opposing Pokémon to sleep using attacks that induce sleep to opposing Pokémon.
• Evasion Clause: A player cannot increase their Pokémon's evasion stat with a move that specifically increases evasion. The items BrightPowder and Lax Incense are banned.
• OHKO Clause: Players cannot use moves that have a chance of instantly KOing an opposing Pokémon. For example, Horn Drill is an illegal move to have on a Pokémon's move set.

 

 

 

 

~Personal Rules and Tips~

 

- Only one legendary is allowed, if you choose to add an legendary. You don't have to add one, but if you do just know it's just one legendary.

- Be sure to have a strategy, don't Earthquake through to win, this isn't RBY.

- Being annoying helps a lot, trust me.

- Don't overdo it though.

- Switch a lot, don't be afraid of switching.

- Make smart decisions, learn your Pokémon's abilities, strengths, weaknesses, etc.

- You are allowed to watch another teams match and comment.

- If you win I'll ask hatok or someone (or I personally) to create a badge for you. 

- Know your type advantages and disadvantages. 

- Experiment with your team before you go fight in the Tournament. By experimenting I mean doing OU battles with people you don't know. It's like testing the team and deciding if something needs fixing, it's perfect, or it's downright terrible. 

- I recommend playing sometimes for 3 days before the Tournament. 

- You're allowed for having multiple teams, the max teams you can use is 4 different ones. You don't have to, but if you want to go ahead.

- Don't get pissed and whine that you didn't win, just incase some of you do.

I'm wondering what hax your talking about then.  

 

Heatran is usually praised like a God but I honestly don't understand why. The Genies trio and the Musketeers quartet in Gen V are honestly pros in OU. Like Thundurus for example.

The typing ironically helps it. It has the right support/status/hazard moves, it's stats are good, possibilities are almost endless.

 

I'm also rusty ever since they kept banning half the stuff I used lol. (RIP Excadril and Genesect)

I'm gonna had some work to do so I couldn't yesterday.

UPDATE:

The tournament will be held starting Friday to the end of Monday (May extend if we have further problems). This is to avoid time zone problems some of our competitors have to deal with.This does not mean you can battle when you feel like it, we wont be able to continue if one person hasn't battled yet in the -enter round number here- round. This also means you need to discuss with your opponent when you should battle, please make sure the battle is on either on a Friday or Saturday. Also inform me that you have spoke and what time you will have the battle through a PM. Thank you very much for your cooperation, and sorry for the inconvenience!

He did pretty wonderful against that team, kind of hard to beat that team against some players.

Oh well, I guess my other special team is left in the dark for this tournament until December.

We're battling on a site called Pokémon Showdown, not using the game itself.

Yeah, I figured we should do it monthly.

Though its not going to be similar to this "big" tournament, and this kind of "big" tournament will be held every 6 months. 

Next month might be a seasonal tournament, such as a Summer Tournament. Not sure to hold this kind of tournament on June or July though.

Alright, sounds good! I need time to figure this all out anyway, I'm new to competitive battling (Been playing Pokemon for 10+ years and I'm still learning competitive, heh...), I'm hoping I'll be ready by then, though!

Um...Me and my Opponent have COMPLETELY different time-zones...When one of us is offline, the other is on...That's a problem...

EVERYONE!

Please battle as soon as possible, the only ones who had a battle was Weiss and I. I really need more of you to battle soon.

If you don't show up at the respective time twice in a row to battle, you will be disqualified and your opponent will advance to the next round.

ANOTHER UPDATE

The first rounds deadline is at the end of this Tuesday EST (Meaning first round is from May 24th to May 28th)

The second rounds deadline is from Wednesday to Friday (May 29th to May 31st) EST

The semifinal round is held on Saturday (June 1st) EST

The final round is held on Sunday (June 2nd) EST

 

If you still haven't battled in the round after the deadline, you (or both of you, depending on the scenario like my other post) are disqualified.
