It depends, in BBS i use them alot for the command styles and the freedom of the MP bar so i can abuse them. Same goes for KH3D.

 

For the games with MP though, i only use them when i want to end a battle quickly, or to grind. Or just for fun. In the games with MP i just tend to be more of a hack and slash player.

I think the only magic command that I use is faith

ars arcanum and time splicer in bbs best combo

Trust me, in KH 1, magic pretty much reigns supreme. But there are those hack and slash moments as well of course. But once you get Graviga, it kills shit extremely quickly, especially useful in the final world where the fights get pretty intense. If you grind a lot while you play, magic gets really strong.

True. I plan on choosing Magic in one of my future playthroughs of KH1, but until i get the platinum i will stick with Defense for my normal Proud playthrough to 100% the game, and then Strength for the lower 2 difficulties to get those trophies.

Oh, Chiuch, in DDD and Re: Coded, I use them way too much. They're the basis of my combination attacks.

In my first time beating 'Days, I used Magic A TON. Most of my linked panels? They were magic I think I had, like, 21+ or so fires on me at one point. And about 12 heals. And 6-7 Thunders. And around 7 Blizzards. And around 2-3 or 3-4 each of all the upgrades. Cept for Curaga. Which I may of had about 10 of.

 

If I ran out of magic, i kinda felt screwed.

 

I was serious on that sh*t... 8D

 

 

But i'm sure i'm faaaar from the worst case scenario with it. I mean, for one, I don't recall sacrificing any level up panals just to stalk more magic. But I probably gave up other things for lots of magic i duno. Or at least to make sure I had enouth ethers on me.

 

So i'm probably pretty sane. I think.
