Teen pregnancies happen because lack of sex ed and accessibility to contraceptives lmao

Being able to get condoms and birth control and other contraceptives as well as proper sex education would significantly lower teen pregnancies

There's always a chance of pregnancy but people should be able to have sex either way and have access to contraceptives to avoid pregnancy and be allowed to take measures afterwards if the contraceptives fail

It seems like you're missing any and every point I've made.

I already know "people have sex." I'm well aware of that.  But they don't need to. Food, shelter, and water are needs. Sex is not a need at all, it's a luxury.

And saying "people have sex either way so they might as well have contraceptives" ....well, first of all, my point is that maybe people should show a little restraint every once in a while. I'm not talking about abstinence, or any of that marriage stuff, I'm firmly against that.

But if you're in such a financially unstable situation that you can't afford condoms, it doesn't matter if someone gives you free ones. Condoms break. Birth control fails. And then what? You're gonna buy baby food with the money you saved on condoms? I don't think so. Everyone thinks it won't happen to them, and those are the ones who regret it most.

I know people like to have sex, but it's a responsibility, and not even making people be responsible for buying their own protection is sending the wrong message. People like to act like telling people not to have sex is a human rights violation, when in fact it's well within a person's control. The problem is, no one wants to stop having sex, so their bratty defiance is what makes teen moms.

Well to put in my 2 cents, I can afford to buy condoms. This website is pretty cool though, and I'm all for saving money. Thanks koko.

1) sure people can show restraint but it doesnt matter what you think about people in poor financial situations having sex. just because someone is poor doesnt mean they cant enjoy luxuries. thats some grade a classism2) no one has to keep a pregnancy. there are measurements to take after if contraceptives fail3) sex isnt a responsibility. it isnt some chore. it is an enjoyable experience people like to take part of. making it out as some sort of responsibility is really dumb??? sure being safe about it is a responsibility but the act itself is not some sort of chore4) what makes teen moms is the lack of availability of contraceptives and affordable ones. sure condoms are cheap, but birth control is not. guys skipping out on condoms and girls not being able to be on birth control creates teen pregnancies. lack of sex ed creates teen pregnancies. not bratty defiance, just the lack of sexual education and safe sex teachings among youth. your whole bratty defiance schtick reeks of misogyny tbh

Hot diggity dog.

Sex is a wonderful and joyous thing to experience, I'm sure. (I'm still a virgin.), but I think it's wiser for people to wait until they get married or at the very least they shouldn't start having sex at such a young age.  It's creepy how people in their 12 or 13 years of age already lose their virginity, and it's even creepier that first graders know almost everything that has to do with sex, and they're not even supposed to know that yet, they should be thinking that babies come from pumpkins for crying out loud!  Anyways, on topic, there's nothing wrong with having sex as long as you have protection and you make sure to have all the necessary precautions.  After that, it's all smooth sailing from there.  But it's like waytothedawn said: "Let kids be kids, not have them."  All good things come to those who wait.  But for those who aren't patient enough, USE PROTECTION!

#1, I didn't say that, but I'm glad you at least admitted that sex is a luxury, because that's the point I was making all along.#2, I'm well aware of, and fully support, abortion. Thing is, abortion is far, far more expensive than birth control and condoms combined. As is emergency contraceptive.#3, I didn't even say it was a chore, so I don't know what you're talking about. And #4, you're obviously not listening to what I'm saying, and seeing as how I've made 3 or 4 posts and all of them were just me repeating myself, I don't feel like having an argument with you. It's clearly going nowhere. And yeah, I didn't say anything misogynistic, but people sure do love to throw that word around. It's one of those words you can easily tack on to an argument to vilify your opponent, like "terrorist," "socialist," "racist," etc.

Hey! How about men, put more than one condom on, or just masturbate. Orrrr SURPRISE BUTTSEX!

wearing multiple condoms causes breakagemasturbation while great is not the same as sexanal sex can be painful and still should be done with a condom (as well as it should be consensual)
