I'm currently in progress of chapter ten and so far the dialogue in this game has been inconsistent. Sometimes they have superb dialogue but sometimes it could be improved.

 

The game is rated M, seriously they can use more coarse language when I started the game and hearing Lightning using coarse language like that I thought "finally a Square Enix game with this type of language". But there's been hardly any since. Such a shame.

Despite that I hate XIII,I still like it's story.But I dare you to take a shot everytime the words:Fal'cie,L'cie and Focus are mentioned

Id love to hear chacters drop more f bombs but i dont htink lightning would maybe snow

If your dialogue needs cussing in order to be good, it probably wasn't that good to begin with.

I agree. The worlds that are in Final Fantasy, have so much crap and pain that it makes sense that there's some cussing to make it more realistic, and we haven't had anything like that since VII. Finally Square is bringing it back.

 

The dialogue is inconsistent at parts, but that's because this is the first XIII game, so it has to get you used to the cast and show more background for them, before the dialogue gets more consistent. Ch. 11 is when it gets more consistent. Well towards the end anyway.
