I've been reading some prediction fanfictions about KH3, and I found one called Cataclysmic Events. Close to the beginning of the fanfic, Organization XIII---the new one---tries to destroy Castle Oblivion and find Ventus's catamose body to use it at their thirteenth vessel. Of course, a few friends of friends set things back to normal.

 

Then I considered it, stirred over the possibilities, and it's really been bugging me. Do you think Nomura would make this happen? Chanses are this could be the big twist of KH3---the thirteenth vessel is/was meant to be Ven. What do you guys think?

Thats already part of the plot in KHDDD I think the plot of KH3 is pretty clear, we round up 7 keyblade masters (Sora, Lea, Riku, Kairi, Mickey, Aqua(?) and Ventus(?) to fight the 13 Xehanorts, i think youre right though, there will be some Sora/Roxas/Ventus themed twist in the unannounced title

Xemnas already spent time trying to find Ventus and sent orders to the org in the past to search but was never successful. CO changes constantly to match a persons memories and the only person with the right memories to find that room is Aqua. Otherwise the rooms change constantly for each person so it's extremely hard to manuever around CO without the proper memories if not next to impossible. You could be in there searching forever and a day and still not find Ven . This was purposely done by Aqua to protect Ven till she could come back to him and it's worked pretty well so far.

Aqua is the only one who knows the secrets of CO, Xemnas already tried searching the castle top to bottom and came up with nothing, so I don't think they could just destroy it til the specific room is left.

 

I think it's going to go as most logically put, go to RoD, save Aqua, go to CO, save Ven, go to the KG, save Terra or use his lingering will.

I assume though that one of the presumed listed lights, SMRTAV (most likely either TAV), will die and be unable to be a light and someone else will step in to take their place (most likely Lea or Roxas).

Pretty sure Terra is already counted in whatever form in the 12 current darknesses. MX even states this about Terras fate of becoming a vessel .Although we don't know for a fact what exactly happened with Terra ( it's a deliberate mystery) i'm gonna bet that since the heart shapes the vessel Terra is the current MX's physical body but with MX's heart in control or consuming Terras so therefore having the appearance of the old man

Yeah, as others have said it seems unlikely, but it would be interesting.

Fool. Yeah yeah, Aqua is the only one who can go through Castle Oblivion, but really, Nomura can make anything he wants up. If he says Xehanort found a way to get Ven, then now we have to now believe it and justify it. There is no real point to speculating. I remember thinking with the mysterious figure in BbS, time travel would be reeaaally stupid, Nomura wouldn't do that to us, would he? But lo and behold.
