So, what's everyone's thoughts on EA's E3 Conference that just ended?

 

I have to say, I liked the beginning part of it with the whole Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare. I laughed a bit at that disco zombie lol. But other than that it was all sports sports psorts sports sports SPOOOOOOORTS battlefield battlefield battlefield battlefield, water, buildings, guns, battlefield.

Boring as always.

DICE showed awesome stuff, I mean come on, Battlefield 3 and Mirrors Edge 2?

Star Wars Battlefront? OMNOMNOMNOM!! CANT WAIT!!

And yes PvsZ Garden Warfare looked cool

Battlefield does look fun for a massive multiplayer shooter. 

I'm not into sports but I think it's pretty cool they update the player stats as soon as a game is over with that one live game.

But obviously I don't have any interest in the sports games

And the plants.... why plants?  Just, ugh...

The PvZ stuff was looked fun, the Battlefront teaser was too short, and the trailer for Dragon Age made me want more. The rest was fine, though the only other gameplay that intrigued me was the Battlefield multiplayer. All-in-all a brisk, high energy conference that was a little too high on itself, but it didn't overstay its welcome.

No better than Microsofts conference.

I was actually pretty impressed. Battlefront! Mirror's Edge 2! And Battlefield 4 is looking pretty nifty.

So now we saw EA's game plan, it looks like they are trying to go from Worst company ever to Allright company ever.

 

We saw the 4 sport games (which not a huge lot of people care for), Battlefield 4 multiplayer footage, and great game confirmations of Mirror Edge 2, and Star Wars BattleFront.

 

Battlefront, Battlefield 4 and Mirror's Edge 2 caught my attention. I think it's awesome to have some great games to come back. Everyone's been pushing EA to make sequels to Mirror's Edge and Star Wars Battlefront series. While they were both teased, It is confirmed  that Battlefront is going to be running on the same engine as Battlefield 4. Just what is EA planning to do with Battlefront?

 

EA shown some multiplayer gameplay (Live of course) showcasing Commander mode, which was introduced in Battlefield 2, and hasn't been heard since. One player will command up to 64 players to follow objectives and provide support for them. This can be done from your console and PC as well as Tablet devices. That's a shocker right there.

 

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a new PvZ game that is fully revamped. I was unable to see much about the game but it is fully in 3D, not your standard 2D system and the gameplay is in 3rd person shooter. This is one unusual game.

 

Need For Speed: Rivals is said to be a game where it feels like NFS: Hot Pursuit 2, but the entire game mostly focuses on Multiplayer. I didn't hear much about the game itself, but it seems allright.

 

So that's my opinion about EA's conference. What about you guys? how do you feel about EA now? Do you think they could make a comeback and regain their fans? or will this be a major blowout? Do you like their game lineup for 2013-2014? All games announced will be available for Xbox one and Ps4.

I shat my pants when Star Wars BattleFront came up.

Plant vs. Zombies = Cool

Need for Speed = Boring

SPORTS = firetruck dat

Battlefront = don't care

BF4 = okay, I liked the trailer, sue me.

Mirrors Edge 2 = don't care

 

Still better than M$

I only watched the trailer and gameplay for the new PvZ game, since I was curious. Leave it to EA to ruin one of my favorite strategy games ever.

Can someone tell me where I can find the footage of this stuff, work this week is killing my E3 coverage T-T
