As much as i love the HD remix's, i can't help but feel that PS3 got really cheated out of having A NEW KH TITLE. But nope, the first 2 numbered titles are for PS2, and then the next numbered title skips PS3 and goes straight to PS4. Not to mention, Nomura planned on putting KH3 and FF XV on PS3, until PS4 came out of nowhere and ruined that. Now KH is going to forever be a game series that is widely spread out among consoles. If it wasn't for PS4, we could've fixed that, but now its been screwed over forever in that respect.

He also never explicitly stated that KH3 would be for the PS3. Everyone just assumed it would be because that was the "current gen" at the time. It probably wasn't even in development until after the PS4 was announced.

True. But i want to, since im a diehard KH fan, im just not happy about it being on PS4 only.

Also would like to point out that after the KH3 teaser the guy said "Final Fantasy XV and KIngdom Hearts 3 coming to PS4" He didn't say "PS4 and PS3".

I want the PS4 for KH3, FF XV, and Infamous SS. I just didn't want to have to get it so soon so the price can drop. But now its looking like KH3 and FF XV will be some of the earliest titles for PS4, meaning ill have to get it sooner to play them.

I  have to admit, your explanation makes so much sense. Alright fine, ill accept it. But im still a little pissed that now i have to save up alot of money for that, when im only a 13 year old kid, who can't get a job or anything. I have to hope for birthday money and stuff like that. Im not like most of you guys who are in high school and college, who can get a job and easily afford a PS4 and the games. Not to mention my dad might not let me get one since i JUST GOT the PS3. I was hoping PS4 would be backwards compatible so i could sell my PS3, but i can't do that either. There's so many great games for PS3 i want to get, and i was hoping XV and III would be some of them, so i wouldn't have to get a PS4. Now i have to cancel some of the games i was going to get so i can get a PS4 and KH3 and XV. Im just a little mad about that now. Now i can't get Ni No Kuni, or Tales of Xillia. Im probably only gonna be able to get the X collection, and the HD ReMIXs for PS3. And LR: FF XIII, since i have to save money now. Pfft. Thanks alot Nomura, you really helped.

ps4 will be backwards compatible just not in the traditional sense......you will eventually be able to stream games through Gaikai on the ps4 they're starting with ps3 and working their way backwards to ps1, well that's their plan anyway

i guess if the console is the problem.. you can wait until the price for ps4 drops, i just bought ps3 btw..(it's kinda disappoints me actually) but nvm..there's a lot of good games on it + KHHD.. i'm going to start savings right now if I want to play KH3

 

the time when the KH3 release, it will be on its best graphics (i'm refering to ps4)..i dont want kh series to have a very bad reviews just because of the graphics.(ps3)

I feel your pain spiderfreak1011, and to me alot of these problems really could have been solved if the PS4 was truly backwards compatible. But whats done is done, and we just have to move forward in the future. On the bright side Kingdom Hearts 3 has been announced!

I planned to pick up a PS4 eventually so it isn't really a big deal for me. I mean sure, it would have been nice to have it on a console I already own, but it looks really good on the PS4. I doubt it will be on both the PS3 and the PS4, but there is always that possibility. I also don't mind that KH is spread out on different systems. While it sucks that we have to go out and buy a new system if we want to play the games, it has gotten many new fans of the series who already own those systems. That's a good thing. I still don't have KH3D, but I've played all the other handheld games. I like the idea of being able to play KH on the go. It's awesome. I had originally hope it'd be on PS3, but since I plan on getting a PS4 one day, it's no big deal for me.

Seriously, stop complaining. I think it's good that they announce another worthwhile game for the PS4. And PS4 isn't even expensive compared to PS3's release price, you can save 400 bucks by going to work for a week or two.
