I literally got the chills once I saw Kingdom Hearts II, Re Coded, BBS in the teaser since I knew it couldn't have been a trailer for 2.5, especially once I saw 3D come in. As soon as I saw Sora walking on Destiny Islands in beautiful HD graphics, and then seeing Master Eraqus's keyblade in the sand, I couldn't even speak.. I was so speechless and I couldn't even type. I've been playing KH since I was little and now I'm all grown up, I've played through every KH game, including ReCoded, and to see this trailer come into play made me go into a state of shock lol. So the first time I watched the trailer (which was on stream), I couldn't even focus on the gameplay lol. I was going hysterical once they shown the Kh3 logo . But after watching the teaser 30 times, I began to think about the gameplay. It seems Sora is using the flowmotion system from Dream Drop Distance to get around Twilight Town much quickly while defeating heartless. This is no shock really after hearing that the system might return in future KH games. But Holy- Sora even jumps on the swarm of heartless and rides on them just like Vanitas ;-;. If thats what's going to be in the official game, then this game will be so much fun to play. Also, seems like Dolan and Gooby are back in the fight, helping Sora along the way, even though they didn't appear in the trailer Without those two, Kingdom Hearts wouldn't really feel like the true Kingdom Hearts. What do you guys think about the trailer overall? Especially it's gameplay?

yeah looks amazing but lokks like kh2 with flowmotion... where are the movesets etc.??? there's the classic kh2 moves instead of what they've been using for the last 3 games... BUT I'M STILL PUMPED!!!!!

I definitely saw walljumps,but it's not trippy like flowmotion

While I like the graphics, they don't seem super KH-like

But as Sora96 said it was a beta so I guess it'll look better

I almost fainted when I saw it, too, but I'm just a little miffed that it's going to be for PS4; my family's a bit slow at getting consoles, so we feel like the PS3 just got released, even though it's been around for like 8 years or so...Oh, well, I'm getting a PS4!

Do you think the drive guage is back? Or at least dual wielding?

I can't answer unless you tell me who Dolan and Gooby are.

Im hoping for a KH2 combat system and judging from the beta trailer it looks like that's what we'll get. Of course it is a beta trailer so its not much to go on. The command deck was fun and all but I love KH2 combat more

lol I thought similar when they showed the games in order by release.

I would like flowmotion to be in the game but not like in 3D I want to be able to upgrade it...like how you get other abilities like glide and stuff.So yea...

I think that is to big for the real release

The EX gauge is probably some temporary naming for the actual gauge that will be in the game. I really hope for the return of the Drive Gauge in KH2, not necessarily with the forms (that will be the best scenario) but also as a way to perform powerful finishing moves like Ars Arcanum. Also, the flowmotion addition is just excelent because it gives you great agility in combat and also makes you move faster through the world. Apart from that, the KH2 gameplay is a just great and with these additions, it's the perfect match.

 

PS First post for me. Guest user for years in kh13 but after yesterday, I wanted to share my enthusiasm for the game.
