I'm excited for super smash brothers for wii u because I will finally be able to play it with other people besides myself even though Lucas may not be in the game. :) (Lucas is my second favorite character in smash brothers brawl.)

So apparently now there's a glitch where you can get banned for 136 years in 3 or 4-player matches because of targeting the same player, so be careful guys.

Darn it, i was literally about to post this. xD But yeah, this is reaaaaaally bad, Nintendo better freaking patch this soon.

Also, if anyone cares, here's the German version of the 50 facts direct:

If yo uwant to know why you should care, this shows off more gameplay of the things we know about, and new little details, such as some new songs that you can get in certain stages(ENGAGE THE ENEMY CONFIRMED FOR GAUR PLAINS, go to 11:40 to see it) and things like how you get a heart container once you beat Master Core, before entering Master Fortress, and how the beginning of the dungeon looks like. You have about 5:30 minutes to find and destroy the core 3 times before time runs out and you lose. Once you've beaten Master Fortress, you return to Final Destination, and the core appears like it does in the 3DS version, and you just have to keep attacking it until you Smash it off stage.

Also, Charizard's German name is hilarious. Glurak FTW.

I've found this same info about this glitch on the Internet this morning. I prefer 1 on 1s anyway. But I hope they fix this glitch.

Hello everybody! For people who go on online mode a lot, On online mode, do you prefer "for fun" the most or "for glory" the most?

I like going on "for glory" mode the most mostly for the wins and one on one matches, which I really like apparently. :)

I like to play For Glory 1v1. R.I.P. all Ganon fighters

The guy who made that DLC Demo video made another video, but will take it down tonight, and doesn't want to risk gameplay footage, as he may get in trouble. so, watch it as you can, but,a gain, take it with a grain of salt.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCkJXHrd7Pk

For anyone who can't tell, the announcer says "Mewtwo" near the end of the video, you gotta turn the volume up. I know the announcer said he couldn't say "this characters name" for his subs because of his contract with Nintendo, but i still don't buy this. I'm sure its faked, really. At least try showing off a legit. icon if anything, seriously. Or just spread around pictures on various accounts on say Imgur maybe.

Thanks for pointing that out. I think it's fake too since he's not showing the picture of Mewtwo in the video

I talked to the guy in the comments, he claims that that Blonde Haired guy from his "leak" is Issac from Golden Sun. Here's proof of him saying it (not proof that this leak is real): Posted Image

I like to play For Fun, because the developers took the time to put more in the game than just a flat surface, and one move for the characters to spam.

I like For Fun, only problem i have with it is that barely any items ever spawn for me when i'm on it, and i feel like it'd be nice if a match would last more than just 2 minutes TBH. Otherwise, its cool. Plus, yay for getting to see the creativity that the developers put into these stages.

You mean you're not supposed to spam counters and projectiles as an excuse because you can't play hyper aggressively?

That reminds me, i gotta say something. I rarely come across any Wii Fit Trainers, and i've only ever come across Little Mac's like twice in all the time i've played For Glory. Same goes for Bowsers. Mostly i'll come across a diverse array of chars. from the roster, although out of anyone i've seen about 3/4 Yoshi's in a somewhat short amount of time one after the ohter, everyone else is usually someone completely different from the last person i've fought surprisingly. THat isn't to say i havent come across the same character multiple times (Shulk and Sheik specifically), it's just i rarely do honestly. I mean, i'm not complaining, i'm glad for that since i'd rather not be fighting LM, Bowser or Sheik users all day, its just that all i'm just saying is im surprised i've been lucky like this so far.

I like for fun, but mostly because for glory isn't for fun. ; P

I just found out that the first video involving the "DLC Demo" was just made private, it can no longer be watched. I don't trust these two videos, as they seem odd.

I have successfully transformed you into a Xenoblade fanboy Woo Engage the Enemy. :D The Master Fortress information is pretty nice. ProJared went into a little detail on it in his video (He was invited to a special reviewer event and got to try out the new features), but not that much.

The only reason I've avoided For Fun is I heard that it has horrible lag. I typically only play online with friends anyway, so I'm not concerned with For Fun or For Glory.

I wish that was the same case with me; I keep getting plagued by Bowser Jr and Yoshi users in For Glory. lolI did meet a Donkey Kong player the other day that kicked my ass 3/4ths of the time, though I love when people play underrepresented characters. I've only met one other Mr Game & Watch user and that is quite a tragedy in my eyes.

The lag actually isn't that bad if you get 3 other people with good internet connections. Because of the way matchmaking works, it really depends on the connection speed for everyone in the match. If you have only one person with 1999 AOL quality internet then everyone suffers, but with that said I've have some 4-player matches that only lagged occasionally, but there's so much chaos going on anyway you probably won't even get too beat up about it..

I'm not really sure how my characters work in terms of general audience, but within my group of friends, I'm pretty much the only one who uses any of my favorite characters (Ness, Zelda, Ice Climbers and Olimar in Brawl, Shulk and Greninja in 3DS). There was one point where we had 3 or 4 people who used Marth, and a lot of people tend to share mains at this point. It's fun using the people no one else really thinks to try.

As for the general audience, I go with characters who I really like beforehand, not "Oh they're good on the tier list so I'll use them." I mean, I think the fact that Ness is my most used character in all of the past games shows that, considering that he's usually seen as a bad character in everything but the 3DS game. I also chose Shulk because I liked his game, not because "AHM RLY FEELIN IT N UNDERWEAR LOL"

Speaking of using characters regardless of tiers.Even though Megaman is a mid-tierlow-tier material I absolutely love to play as him mainly because he's my favorite character and I got really good with him

Why're we talking tiers?

Why're we talking tiers?

Try playing SF. People talk tiers like it's the most important thing ever. Looks like smash is going the same way. -__-

The player makes the character.

Why're we talking tiers?

Because people won't stop mentioning it

Personally I don't believe in tiers.I mostly believe in skills as I've seen people using characters that are in E-tiers yet they still can kick ass with it

Heck I saw someone in a Melee tournament winning with a freakin Pichu

And another example not related to fighting games was in this year's Pokemon World Championship where this year's champion Se Jun used a freakin Pachirisu as his star Pokemon and emerged victorious

But the issue is that there are always characters that are just better than others because of their movesets and mechanics. Like there's no denying that Yoshi or Rosalina & Luma have amazing tools to use over other characters, but that's just the problem with having a game where there's such a diverse cast of characters with different gimmicks. The only way to rectify this would be if every character had the same hitbox, the same movesets, the same phyics, etc, and that would be a hell of a lot more boring.Obviously with that said, a "low tier" character can still beat a "better" one depending on the skill level of the people involved. It just depends, but some characters just take more effort to master, though it's still possible to overcome their disadvantages. Plus it helps that SSB4 does have a much more balanced cast list, like it's more of a case of characters being disadvantaged than objectively being "bad".
