And that's how FFXV was born

....Oh wait KH1 and KH2 was better than FFVII than my opinion and FFXV already had KH battle system.

So yeah.

Tbh, there have already been many Final Fantasies that exceed VII. Don't get me wrong, FFVII is one hell of a game, but I believe FFVIII for starters beat any legacy VII may have set. That challenge has already been accepted and superceded.

Honestly, VII's one of my least favorite FF games. It's not necessarily bad, but it's not as good as a lot of the others. XV looks a lot better, though. Definitely. :D

That was code for "There will never, ever, be a FFVII remake. So tough shit." Because they know that, no matter how amazing any future FF games are, they will never be able to cut through the glare of the VII fanboys nostalgia-colored glasses. Even if, objectively speaking, they beat it in every single category.

No, TORIYAMA SAID CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. I think XIII exceeds VII TBH.

But yes, XV will most likely be the FF that exceeds or rivals VII. It has an amazing battle system, so far an amazing story, and looks like developed characters.

I thought about this as well. lol
