    And the Soul Eater matches Sora's color scheme.

    It's foreshadowing to how connected the two are and how they will save each other.

    While the Soul Eater does have some of the same colors as Sora, it matches Dark Riku's Armor. And then the Way to Dawn with having the heartless crest with out the inner's matches the emblem on his armor's chest. So in other words it is mirror his dark armor, whether or not that armor is mirroring Sora, I don't know.Edit: And thanks OP for pointing this the KK to Riku thing out.
