I think it means a mod locked it, so no one can post on it anymore. They locked it probably because there was already a post like that.. But idk

i think no one else can post on it

Locked means that it is still viewable by you and others but you cannot add anything to it.

You can't respond to it because it was deemed 1) offensive, 2) redundant, or 3) spam.

It was most likely causing a problem.  Don't worry about it.

Does it mean I'm in trouble or something?

No, it just means the thread is locked.

A thread being locked means that a mod decided that, for some reason or another, the discussion no longer needed to continue. There are a multitude of reasons why this could happen, so without seeing the thread I can't tell you why it was done. Normally, if the thread is considered offensive or spam we hide it, not lock it. Hiding it makes it so that no one who is not a mod or admin can see it.

You would probably know if you were in trouble, so I doubt you are if you have to ask. If you get into trouble, one of the mods will definitely be sending you a PM and you'll receive warning points (amount depends on what you do).

So,whats the most amount of warning points you can you get?

Unfortunately, I can't remember off the top of my head. I think you get a permanent ban somewhere around 10-12, though you'll get a temporary ban at lower numbers. You'd be better off asking one of the "global" mods about that, sorry.

You should be asking the mods why it was locked.

A locked topic results in the ability to post has been disabled.

PM is short for Personal Message. Send other members in the forum a message.

Warning points are hardly ever given out, we prefer to contact the member first and explain what they did wrong. We don't like giving warning points, so please don't make us give them out. It's also impossible to remove warning points unfortunately.
