I'll start:





"Hm...." Joshua pondered out loud, rummaging through the convoy of the new Shepherds' base. After Chrom's group of Shepherds defeated the 'Mad King' Gangrel and ended the war with Plegia, it's been a lot quieter, but we still had Risen to take care of whenever they'd show up again. "There has to be something I can use here!" Joshua exclaimed, looking past the staves and through the tomes of the magic-users in the group. (I can't just heal my way to victory...I need something to defend myself. I need to start learning how to use tomes again!) Joshua thought as he picked up an Elwind, examining it thoroughly. (How do you use this again...? I mean, I don't want to cast this on anyone by accident...and what if a mage or dark mage here sees me with the tomes?)
"What'cha doing, Joshy?" Yumiko asked, kneeling down towards his height, "Gya...!" He yelped, bringing the tome back into the convoy. "Messing with the tomes again?" She asked. "...U-um...kind of...sorry...." Joshua quickly apologized. Yumiko just chuckled a bit, "Don't be sorry, I don't even use tomes. I bet it'd be kind of fun if I knew how too, though." She said, with her usual casual smile. "...Y-yeah, but, um, Yumi-- er-- Yumiko," I stuttered a bit. (Yumi and Yumiko have too similar names...and they're both archers too....) Joshua thought nervously. "Um, Yumiko, can you not tell Rory, Saren, or Sylar about this? Please? Especially Sylar...! He can be kind of mean...and who knows what kind of curses he knows...." Joshua plead a bit quietly, looking around for anyone else as well. "Sure, I won't tell them. Maybe."

(Oh, this'll be too fun...)

 

"I heard my na-ame!" Sylar called from behind Joshua. The dark mage placed his hand on Joshua's shoulder. "As a dark mage, I have to be sure no one is invoking my name into any curses." He spoke with a mischievous grin on his lips. He liked to mess with the kid. So young, and slightly naive. Though, he tried not to be too mean, as the kid was the one stitching him up after the battle. "Anyway, anyone know where exactly we're headed next? Kinda boring just hanging around here."

 

Ember was out slicing up a practice dummy. Slice, slice, slice. Fluid motions, and focusing learning where to strike for a critical hit. Stab. Ember took a deep breath, examining her handiwork. Of course, straw was all over the place, but she was focused on the dummy. Quite a few slice marks, excellent hits all of them. That last stab would go straight through a chink in standard armor. She decided it was a B+ grade. It would definitely kill the target, but the work was kind of sloppy. "Finesse. More finesse." She could hear her father's voice in her head, just like he usd to do.

Sword met sword as the metal clanged against each other, making a loud clang as they met. Lyon was practicing against a live opponent; a practice he felt not only strengthened the mind, but the sword as well. It allowed one to quicken his reactions and tighten his muscle, Lyon would often say.

"You're upward slices are hesitant." Lyon chided, looking to his opponent as he did a quick jabbing move, which knocked his armored partner to the ground.

 

"Work on that. Never hesitate in battle. Those few moments can cost you your life." Lyon said, looking at the man as he slid his sword back into its sheathe.

((I think I might change Vale's appearance....))

I was on a tree just sitting around I had no missions... Things have been quiet as Gangrel was gone, I didn't have to assassinate anymore of his men... So many people wanted them dead some even wanted me to take their money... Some people have changed but some stayed as the caring people I remember almost becoming my new family... Even stopping me to eat with their family...It was a nice town and I wanted to keep it that way... I then jumped down from the comfy tree and I walked around with nothing to do. It was also too quiet...it seemed off... I climbed a building and hopped from one roof to another, swiftly as I could so I didn't break the rook or be seen. I climbed the tallest building and looked far to see if I could see anything...

(Hm. With this starting, I wonder if I should put in a second character.)

 

Morma was strutting(?) around the roads out of frustration.  He had another argument with his parents about him becoming a fighter and not helping around the family farm.  He constantly told them that farming activities weren't his specialty.  Doing those sort of things wasn't his calling.  But they didn't seem to understand it.  Only his little brother and sister truly get it.  While walking around, Morma thinks:  Why don't my parents understand that I became a fighter to make sure they're safe and no evil forces come marching around?  Well it doesn't matter.  I'm sure they'll figure it out someday.  Now....  He looks out at a training yard.  With a large axe strapped to his back and four hand-sized ones at his sides, he says:  "Alright, time to let out some tension."  He walks to the closest practice dummy.

"YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" 

"Ug..." 

"HAHAHAHAHA! We did it! High Five Hope!" Me and my epic of epic Pegasus Hope gave a hove five. My smile was real big as I grabbed 'The List of Top 50 Pegasus Knight Riders in the World' and checked number 44 off. "That takes care of James Treech." I look back to see poor James and his Black Pegasus laying on the ground. Don't worry he'll survive. "Were one step closer Hope. One step closer to being the Greatest Pegasus Rider in the World!" 

Hope made a happy noise and shook his head up and down. 

"Now how about we ride in the sky till we get tired because were extremely tired!" 

Hope made a happy noise again. 

"ALRIGHT LET'S GO!" I got on Hope's back. Hope spread his sparkling white wings and together we flew off towards the fluffy cloud sky.

Zara poked her finger on top of the tip of the metal part of the arrow. Her finger was pierced slightly and her finger released some blood. She smirked with satisfaction and readied her arrow into her bow and drew back her arrow. "And aim.." she muttered and released with ease, piercing hard into the tree bark of the tree across from her. She was sitting high on one of the branches in the woods and has gone unnoticed for nearly an hour now. Many of her arrows were dug deep into the tree like she was trying to kill it. Zara lowered her bow and stood up. She jumped off, landing steadily onto the ground and walked over to the arrow filled tree. Zara started to pulled some of them out from the tree. "Tch, can't let good arrows like these these go to waste." she muttered to herself as she gathered the last of them and placed them back into her case where she kept all of them

  Alister walked up to Lyon and tapped his shoulder. "wanna spar with me next? or are you done for the day?" he asked with a blank face. His sword strapped to his side, an Armourslayer. "well... you up for it?"

Io looked at Sylar, Joshua, and Yumiko questioningly before a big smile appeared on his face and he held his dragon stone in his hand and snuck up behind the three and then transformed and breathed heavily behind them. just staring at them.

Saren walks down a lone road. After being framed, and with no proof, he can't do anything.

”I'll get him back one day...I don't need that school...! I will be the best Sage without that school's help!”

 

Saren was later approached by an unusually large man. With an axe in his hand, the Ruffian exclaimed: ”Aww,, you shouldn't be alone in the wild boy. Didn't your mommy ever warn you about strangers?” Saren leered at the Ruffian, only being insulted like the way anyone would insult Ricken.

 

”Come here, boy! You're commin' with me! You'd make a fine servant for the boss!” Shouted the Brigand.

”Back off, you giant oaf! Don't try and scare me, because I ain't afraid!” Saren threatened back, keeping his guard.

 

”Oho.....alright. Time to teach yoy some manners!” The brigand shouted.

 

The Ruffian charged at Saren with his axe, ready to strike! ”Yeow..!” Saren wasn't well with getting hit, and took a big toll. But he was still standing! He pulls out a red tome with a symbol of Fire engraved.

 

”Get away from me!” He shouted. Saren readies his stance, and opened his Fire tome. With an orange glow, a burst of flame shot out of his hand. ”Eeagh!”, the Ruffian was too slow and got burned badly!

 

”Had enough? Get away or I'll do it again!” Saren made himself clear. He HATES being pushed around. ”Ohoho...you're good. But You're comming with me!” Shouted the Barbarian. and yet again, he runs after Saren. ”Bring it!” He shouted.

 

Can he survive another blow? Will he be able to dodge in time and counter?

"O-oh...hi...S-Sylar...." Joshua muttered quietly under his breath, tensing up, and stuttering through his sentences. Sylar's hand was surprisingly warm for being...well, Sylar. Perhaps he was the kind of guy to dismember people and toss their limbs into the flowing wind, and instead of disarming people by striking off their weapons or something, he might disarm them by removing their arms. That's at least what Joshua thought of him, as he only needed to pay attention to the injured on the battlefield. "You know Joshy here was looking at a few tomes here, Sylar. I think one of them was that Flux of yours. Or maybe Nosferatu." Yumiko chuckled, jist leaving Joshua to tense up even more. "Y-Yumiko! I— I told you not to tell anything...!" Joshua exclaimed, moving away from Sylar and behind Yumiko. "I don't know where we're going, really...it's not like we have a tactician or an actual leader to tell us. We're just us...." Joshua muttered, sighing deeply. "Maybe you can ask Alexander. He usually knows."

The breath of Io's manakete form brushed down Joshua's neck, and he quickly jumped back and yelped, "Gya!! Io! Don't do that! You're going to give me a heart-attack or something...." He was paranoid now, making sure no one else was by him to scare him again. "Aww, don't worry Joshy, they were only playing." Yumiko said nonchalantly. She hadn't seen Io until Joshua yelped, but she wasn't scared. She was just petting Io's head a bit and then ruffled Joshua's hair. "Yumiko...you snuck up on me too...I mean— all of you did." He exhaled deeply again. "...You guys are all being mean, right now...." He quietly uttered. Yumiko ruffled his hair again. "Oh, you'll get over it. And then we might do it again...!" She laughed. "Just kidding...maybe."

 

Alexander began reading all by his lonesome— where there was finally quietude and no thoughts of dismemberment or transforming of manaketes. He read only from his left eye— his long hair's bangs completely covered his right and hung all the way down to his chin and about half an inch past. His sword was by him, against the wall. (Do we even have another decently volumed person around here? Most of them are loud.) He thought boringly.

Io transformed back with a big smile on his face as he began to break down laughing "Yumiko is right Joshua we don't want you to die. well at least I don't want you to die." he said. he slipped his dragonstone into his pocket as he said this. then he took out a piece of candy and handed it to Joshua "will this make up for it?"

Yu walked up behind Sylar and seemed to have appeared out of nowhere being rather unnoticable "Whats going on here?" he asked. his long bow was strapped to his back with his quiver on his side. his manakete ears perked up as he looked at the other 4. Yu recognized Yumiko and Io but hadn't often seen the other 2.

Lyon shrugged, "I don't see why not," he said, looking Alister over with a single quick glance. Lyon did a mental shrug, and his eyes returned to Alister. "I do have something to take care of later on...but I can spare a moment for a quick match." Alister said, already getting an idea of what moves to use.

 

(Sorry if it's short. I'm using my phone for the moment.)

Alister nodded "alright then" he drew his blade and took his stance. his eyes were calm and focused. he had the blade balanced with his body and seemed undefended on his left side. but as a myrmidon he was quick and could shift to a different position at any moment. he was ready to spar.

Morma got to the dummy closest to him and had his fists up.  He made a few jabs to the torso and abdomen.  Then he pulled out two small axes and swung all over.  Some swipes at the head, torso, and lower body.  Wiping off sweat from his forehead, Morma thinks:  That ought to be enough.  Now for something to drink.  He walks off to the closest pub (or hub) to satisfy his thirst.

Joshua's eyes glimmered and shone with inner excitement after seeing the piece of candy, but he was still a bit nervous at the same time, paranoid as ever too. "O-oh...okay, Io...thank-you." He said quietly, despite his inner— and outer child to the brim with excitement for the snack. He unwrapped the candy and jumped up a few stacks of boxes so that he sat on top of the stuff, just flailing his legs in the air. He grew a faint smile as he ate the candy, and just watched as he ate— about at Sylar's height as he sat on top of everything— further from the floor. As soon as Yu came out of nowhere, he jumped back, hitting his head against the wall a bit mildly. "Kah...!" He almost choked on.the candy, and finally swallowed it, moaning and looking up at the ceiling. "Nngh...I almost choked...." He grumbled as Yumiko chuckled agaimn. Once he got up, Joshua rubbed his eyes and looked at Yu. "Huh...? I've never seen you before...who're you...?" He asked. "Oh, you don't know him, Josh? That's Yu!" Yumiko exclaimed. "M-me!? How...how can that be me...?" Joshua asked confusedly.

"No no no, not you! That's Yu!"

"What...? I don't get it...is that me or not...!?"

"Nope. That's just Yu."

You're confusing me!"

"His name is Yu...! Y - u — Yu."

Joshua sighed. "...oh. That's a really stressful name!"

"I just get used to it after a while" Yu said. "either way may I know what just happened and that piece of candy wont go down well like that." he told him.

 

Io just laughed like crazy and was rolling on the ground

"Here Hope you can have the rest of my apples." I tossed the red fruit into the pile of apples we found. That was usually our meal....apple, apple, apple, roasted chicken I would find somewhere, apple, random food some guy drops, apple, apple.  You get use to it after a while, hey it's life of a Adventure Person. I couldn't handle being...not out exploring... 

"I'm going to go find something...be back." Being a on a Adventure is fun and all but sometimes there can be plain boredom. So in order to escape boredom I usually go see what the world is up to.  

Brushing one of my long pink pig tails behind my ear. Actually I'm quite easy to spot...long pink pigtails...a metal helmet that looks as Bunny ears...it's really a mystery as to how people don't notice... 

I walk on till a clinging noise lifts my ears. I sat down behind the bushes and crawled. I crawled till I came into a good view of what seemed to be...sword men? I have no idea what they are called but this looks interesting. I ducked behind the bush and hid as I watched the two prepare for a duel. 

(Alright. Now that Neko has the chance, SHE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO POST ;~; )

Lyon nodded and readied his blade.

An armourslayer. I best be careful, then. If I make any false moves, he'll very easily cripple me. Lyon though, nodding to his opponent, "I see you're quite good at taking down armored opponents. Not that I am easy to take down..but I am not afraid to lose." Lyon said, his smile sly as he readied his sword.

"You ready?"

I sighed as I ((ate a pie)) climbed down...there was only a camp out there... I started walking back to the woods to train some more... When someone called my name...

"Vale? Oh Vale? Please tell me that's you!" That voice...it was a woman named Jane who let me play with her children, and let me have some bread. I turned around and walked up to her. "Oh Vale! B-barbarians took my children! Th-they took Juila a-and Sam!" She started breaking down in tears...

I crouched down and patted her shoulder, "I'll get them for you."

"Y-you will? Oh thank you Vale!" She started to hug me and when she let go I stood up.

I sighed, Death will become of them. Barbarians three camps up here, one steals gold, one is not that violent and trades with the village... Then another barbarian camp...the one I was going for... Southwest from here... I pulled up my hood, cracking my knuckles... Already knowing the location of the camp...

Alister nodded "not as you expect" he said. As he turned the blade in a different direction.

I sighed grabbing a nearby apple from the bush I'm hiding behind; hey you never expect where to find these things. I have no idea who these two Swordsmen are but I'm kind of interested in what their doing. Are they just Newbies or can they actually fight with a sword? Sword people are so weird...some of them are all like 'Hey look at me! I can wield a sword' while others are like '.....Die!' Just so....strange... My mouth grins at the thought. Makes me want to kinda hold a sword now. 

Lyon nodded and braced himself. He had a calculative mind. He could easily process what attack could be blocked or parried in what ways. The only problem he had with was mages. They were harder to predict, as they stood from afar and had a wide range of spells.

Lyon went for the first strike, a ghost move that allowed him to swipe with his armored elbow, a move to go for his opponents weapon and knock it out of his hands. Lyon followed up with a slash that went to the upper-left; completing a three-move combo to trick, disarm, and attack.

In between the woods I saw a girl watching to men fight...not a normal sight. Anyways I kept walking seeing flames at a distance...I started to walk crouching hiding in the grass, bushes and trees... I heard them start to talk as the sound of crying children was muffled... I glared listening to their conversation. 

"So how much money do you think we'll get from these bratty kids?"

"Hm... I say about 100 gold each."

"That's too low fool!"

I heard a muffled, "Let us go!" It was Sam...

"Shut up kid!" The man kicked the tied up kid. 

Sam started crying...I sighed deeply... then got up... Walking towards them my face, weapons hidden.. 

"Huh? Who's this fool? You lost big guy? Hehe." He walked up to me and I looked down on him.

"Return those children. Now."

"Ha! You can't tell me what to-" I brought down my fist, my hidden blades stabbing his throat... Luckily the children's eyes were covered...

"You little!" The man swung his sword at me. I blocked with my two hidden blades pushing the sword away. Then stabbed his chest with my blades. The other put his arm around my neck... I stabbed his arm, he backed away screaming in agony as I ((ate another pie)) sliced his head off... I noticed this was only a couple of bandits...not barbarians... I sighed cutting the blindfolds and ropes on the two kids. I hid my blades.

The cried and cried hugging me as I patted their heads. "Vale!" I picked them up and headed towards their home....  

Just as Lyon moved Alister threw his sword up in the air and with his amazing mobility he jumped up and sprang off of Lyons shoulders. He caught Armourslayer in mid air and landed a perfect 10 if he was being judged. Then he turned around so now he was positioned behind Lyon just looking at him.
