If your boyfriend/girlfriend didn't like the way you dress, or how you so your makeup or the way you style your hair, whether or not they ask you to change would you change for them? Just curious.

Unless they tell me to dress like a slut, probably.  I don't invest much into my appearance so if he's happier if I look a certain way (aside from the sluttiness), I don't see a problem.

If a guy didnt like how I looked he probably wouldn't date me. Certain suggestions are fine (a guy suggested I wear earrings more often) and ill take those into consideration. But I usually don't change myself for others.

Probably not how I dress cause that would be expensive to change, but if they preferred a hair or makeup style that I also like then I wouldn't mind doing that.  Only if I like it and I feel like changing it cause it's my body, you know.  And if he were adamant about it like "Change it or I won't date you?"  I would respond, "Get the firetruck out of here then!"

No, I thinks that's a bit over the top to change for a man/woman. If they suggest a idea or express how they feel about it yea, sure.

I dunno, I just wear various things. Since I'm mostly a geek, it's usually shirts based off of things I like. Other than that, I usually wear shorts or jeans. As far as I know, my girlfriend is totally fine with it.

To a certain extent, yeah. I think it would depend on what style is being asked of me. I did let my hair grow out longer, despite wanting to get it cut, because I knew that my girlfriend liked it longer.

No I wouldn't. The way I wear clothes, make up and do my hair is part of who I am and not a thing that someone else can decide, no matter how close we were. It would be ok to suggest me to wear something and if I liked it, why not. But I wouldn't change everything anyway.

 

The fact that I wouldn't change for them doesn't mean that I didn't care of them. It just means that if I believed someone loved me, I'd believe they didn't love me because of the clothes they wanted me to wear (if they did - would that even be me they liked anymore?).

Nope.jpgf you can't get over what someone looks like in its entirety, then that's there problem. Besides, its my style, my styles mine alone, and nothing's going to force me to give myself up for something petty like appearance.

Changing yourself to please other people is stupid.

i wouldnt change to make someone like me because then that means they dont love me for being me.

 

i'm me forever lol no matter what anyone says i will stay the way i want to be.

My girlfriend likes my overall appearance so I never had that problem. If she did ask me to change something I'd probably be open to it. No piercings, hair dye, tattoos, or anything drastic/permanent though.

No that would be how I dress, and im not gonna change into something i cant stand because theyre embarrassed to be with me in these clothes or some other BS like that
