Okay guys hello and i'm back with another Story ;P For those who dont know who i am (Okay i dont blame you i've been away for quite some time ) I'm SoraKH i have written some stories here on KH13 and it would be awesome if you gave this one a chance too The fanfic is about how Aqua survived through the Realm of Darkness. Basically its BBSV2! Enjoy

 

 

 

 

Prologue:

Aqua woke up on a rocky surface. She was cold and tired. The events of the previous day happened so fast and she took some time to realize where she was. Everything was lost. Aqua’s eyes started burning and tears appeared at her eyes. But she was strong enough and she was determined to find a way out…

She got up and started inspecting around her. The realm of darkness was not how she imagined it. At first the only thing that she could see was endless darkness. But the endless darkness eventually turned out to be fog. As the fog cleared huge rocks with blue shards appeared and huge paths that lead to unknown places. She chose a path and started following it hoping that it was the right one.

As she continued walking she noticed a black hole into the ground and darkness poured out of it. Always protective she summoned her keyblade that was once her Master’s and took small steps towards the portal. For a second she thought it was safe but as soon she was ready to vanish her keyblade a monster popped out of the portal an attacked Aqua. Luckily her reflexes were good and she blocked the attack. After defeating some of them the portal closed and vanished. These creatures were for sure not Unversed, so what were they then? The one thing that she was sure about those creatures is that they used darkness as their power… And they were dangerous…  

 

Journal entry #1:

“I’m lost, scared and exhausted. This is just too much for me, too much to handle…  This is the strongest darkness I have ever encountered. A new type of monsters has appeared and they are nothing similar to the Unversed. They use darkness as their power.  But I can handle it… After all I’m Master Aqua, a true keyblade master…”

Well welcome back then

So firetrucking AWESOME!!!!!

Chapter 1:

Journal entry #2:

“Today I explored a little more and found out that the paths lead to some portal. I think entering those portals will take you somewhere else. The question is that if It’s safe to enter them. For now I’ll have to get used to the place and the connection between the paths. That won’t be too hard. But what I’m most afraid of is the new type of monsters that have appeared. They get stronger every day… I’m sure they have a source which gives them that kind of power. But where is this source and most of all… what is it? Everything is a puzzle and I’ll try my best to solve it…”

 

 

Aqua had finished off a dozen of heartless and fell on the ground exhausted. These monsters were sure stronger and cleverer than the Unversed.  After resting for a while and having a steady breathing she got up and continued following the long path that she was following for the past six hours. She wasn’t sure how many days had passed but she was sure that she was in there for at least a week. While walking she felt her pocket getting warm. Her wayfinder was glowing. It was the first time she had smiled in days! She wasn’t sure why her wayfinder glowed but she knew she had to follow it and see where it would lead her… it was her only chance…

 

The wayfinder was a good guide… It was like it had been designed for guiding Aqua through the Realm of Darkness. It led her to paths that she wouldn’t notice if the wayfinder didn’t guide her. The wayfinder stopped glowing and Aqua saw where she had to go. She had been led in front of a Portal just like the one she had saw before. She thought that if the wayfinder had led her here she had to go in. and without thinking it twice she stepped inside the portal.

 

A second later she opened her eyes and found herself surrounded with bushes and trees. The atmosphere was different. It was light and somehow pleasant but still it had the scent of rotten which made Aqua understand that she was still in the Realm of Darkness. She continued walking trying not to touch the decayed wood. After a lot of jumping  over dark puddles and decayed wood she found a way out of the forest. For a minute she couldn’t see a thing, but when the fog cleared the thing she saw took her breath away…

 

“The Castle of Dreams…” She tried to say loud but it was more than a weak and raspy whisper.

 

It was the Castle of Dreams but without its beauty and glory. The walls were cracked and the windows were shattered. But the worst of all was that the castle was jutting out of a sea of Darkness…

Chapter 2:

 

Journal Entry #3:

“Today I will be heading to the Castle of Dreams. I found it yesterday and I’m afraid its slowly being swallowed by darkness… I’m worried about everyone! What happened to Cinderella? Or the Fairy Godmother? And what happened to all the other friends I made? But most of all… I want to know what happened to Lady Tremaine… I have a feeling that she is responsible for this… “

 

The path that led to the Castle was destroyed so Aqua had to find another way to gain access to it. She tried to summon a glidewinder but her attempts failed. The only way was to swim through the sea of darkness but that was way too dangerous as it could swallow her and destroy her. Without knowing what to do she took her wayfinder from her Pocket and held it tight. She hoped that it would help her. And it did. Two single sparks came out of it and they created a bridge leading towards the Castle. Aqua surprised from what her wayfinder had just created she happily started heading towards the Castle. She wasn’t entirely defenseless after all…

 

The Castle was completely ruined. The expensive red carpet and gold ornaments that once decorated the castle were destroyed, the majestic stairs were crumbled and the beautiful chandelier was on the floor. “Um… Hello? Is anyone there?” Aqua shouted with a hope that someone would respond.  Unfortunately no one did. She tried to remember the place and decided to head to the ballroom.

The ballroom was not how Aqua expected it would be. It was full of people dancing and on the throne was the prince sitting and looking around. The odd thing was that everyone was opaque… They looked like ghosts.

 

“Hello? Can anyone hear me?” Aqua asked knowing that no one would answer

“No they don’t, They are Illusions” A voice said and the illusions vanished

“WH- Who was that?” Aqua shouted while she summoned her keyblade

“Hey, calm down okay we don’t want to kill someone with that keyblade don’t we?”

“Show yourself!”

 

A man in a black coat appeared behind Aqua. He wore a hood so Aqua couldn’t see his face. Aqua prepared an attack and the hooded figure blocked it with great skill tossing Aqua on the wall.

 

“Who are you?”

“Will it make a difference if I tell you?”

“Yes. I want to know who I’m talking to…” Aqua said trying to hide her fear

“Let’s just say I’m someone trapped, like you..” said the figure

“And what’s up with the coat?”

“It protects me from the darkness”

 

Aqua lowered the keyblade and vanished it. She felt that she could trust the man she was talking to. After all he was the only one who she had seen in days.

 

“How did you get here?”

“Long story…But let me guess… You want to leave right?”

“Of course I want!” Aqua cried

“Well bad news, you can’t!”

“Why not?” Aqua asked depressed

“Once you enter the Realm of Darkness you are trapped. Unless you have a way to get out. And I’m positive that you haven’t got one… right?”

“You’re right… Anyway… What’s up with these people? Where is Cinder-?”

 

Suddenly a dark figure appeared from the shadows and caught Aqua’s attention. The figure was an old lady with a dress. It was lady Tremaine. But something seemed different. She was like a moving statue. Her eyes had no life. She looked lifeless.

 

“Oh a Phantom…”

“What’s a Ph-“ Aqua stopped noticing the man that was trying to escape

 

Aqua tried to stop the man but she was too late. He was gone. She had to face alone this Phantom. Lady Tremaine pulled something from her pocket. A wand! She started attacking Aqua with a fire spell and she blocked it with amazing skill. Aqua threw her keyblade towards the phantom and it immediately shattered into small pieces. She had defeated the Phantom.

Once again her wayfinder started glowing. She squeezed it into the palm of  her  hand and sparks came out of it changing the scenery around her.

 

The red carpet had appeared again as well as the golden ornaments….

The chandelier took its rightful place and the crumbled stairs restored their self’s….

 

Aqua could see a new illusion.

 

Cinderella hugging the prince…    

A wave of darkness attacking the castle…

Maleficent kidnapping Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother escaping…

The palace being completely swallowed by darkness…

 

The scene changed and became once again a ruined ballroom. Aqua was shocked from what she had just seen. The wayfinder had showed her how the world how the world got plunged into darkness. It was a powerful object indeed…

Okay guys i know i just started this and i got a bunch of chapter pre-written but i'll be leaving town for the weekend! I promise when i come back i'll update!

 

 

Chapter 3:

 

 

Diary entry #4:

“My visit to the Castle of Dreams helped me understand some things. Apparently the worlds I will be visiting have been plunged into darkness. The weird thing I noticed is that Maleficent kidnapped Cinderella… Is she responsible for all of this? Today the wayfinder led me to another world that has been plunged into darkness. The Enchanted Dominion is completely ruined…”

 

Aqua finished off a group of Darkballs and spun her keyblade in the air. The heartless were getting more powerful every day but she had learned their weaknesses and she could handle them. She inspected the room. The once glamorous throne room was ruined. The walls were crumpled and the thrones were broken. But there weren’t any illusions around so she decided to look for them. She had figured out that the illusions would somehow lead her to the right direction… She carefully went up the stairs and headed towards Auroras Chamber. The room was ruined just like the entire castle, but Aqua could notice a slight aura of light. In the room she saw an illusion of Aurora lying on her bed and the three good fairies guarding her. She approached the sleeping princess and tried to touch her, but she touched nothing but thin air.  Suddenly her wayfinder started glowing again. She took it out of her pocket and it literally flew out landing on one of the three good fairies. They wayfinder glowed and Flora started changing to a brighter color.

 

“Hello Aqua!”Flora said gently

“What? How did this happen?”Aqua asked confused

“Your wayfinder woke up an Illusion. It’s a really strong object that has to be protected”

“Wow! Its more powerful than I thought…”

“Yes darling, but the greatest power that it has is that it connects people. It connects you with your friends… You have power because of your friends… “ Flora started losing her brightness.

“Oh goodness graces the spell is wearing off. Okay listen closely darling I haven’t got much time. Your wayfinder will guide you to some worlds. Each world will have a phantom you will have to defeat. Defeat the Phantom of the world and the wayfinder will do the rest. And remember as long as you got faith…you will always win the darkness…”

 

Aqua wanted to ask so much but as soon as Flora stopped talking she lost her brightness and the illusion of the Fairies and Aurora vanished. A sound came from downstairs that made the building shake. Aqua summoned her keyblade and run downstairs to defeat what was causing this trouble. “Probably the Phantom of this world?” she though...

 

“Show your self” Aqua yelled

“ Imbecile! You think you can defeat me? ME? THE MISTRESS OF ALL EVIL!”

 

Maleficent appeared from the shadows. She looked like an illusion but she was a phantom so she had the power to communicate with Aqua. Maleficent threw a lightning spell on Aqua that tossed her up in the air. Aqua got up and cast an ice spell right after she quick blitzed the Maleficent phantom. The phantom broke into pieces…but the fight had just started. The shattered piece levitated in the air and glued their selves back together to create an even more powerful version of Maleficent! Now Aqua could clearly see a huge purple dragon throwing flames all over the place. Aqua eliminated the flames with an ice spell and attacked with a shooting move that landed exactly in the dragon’s heart. Once again the Phantom shattered into tiny pieces.

 

“Bravo! Way to go beautiful!” The figure said while clapping

“Oh you again…”

“What? Am I boring?”

“No but you abandoned me the other day!”

“I’m sorry beautiful I just don’t  like sticking around for a long ti-”

“Who are you?” Aqua interrupted the man

 

The man chuckled and vanished.  Aqua noticed that he had left and while she had to get angry a smile was formed on her face… She was happy that she wasn’t completely alone. Well the fact that she was trapped in the Realm of Darkness scared her but still she had someone to talk to even if he vanished five minutes after every time she saw him.
