it was actually in one of the dlc's. Apparently lucy was working for abstergo still. i forgot, but i think she was angry at the assassins or something

Not really, i never cared for Desmond that much. You hardly even play as him in the AC games. So I won't really miss him. If anything, I'm sad that AC: Revelations was Ezio's last game. He made an awesome assassin.
