What was the point in putting that in BBS Final Mix

It wasn't cancelled, they never started a game for it. 

 

Nomura confirmed there is a story there but they can't make a game for it at this time.

It would have been another spin off game. Meaning, the fans would have complained  about it if we had it, but they complain about not having it just the same.

I thought it was cancelled. KHIII's going to be the last game in the Xehanort saga, BBSV2 would've been in the XS considering it was shortly after BBS. I'm not saying I wouldn't want a BBSV2. I'd gladly buy the game, assuming it's for any Sony system other than the Vita...

BBS V2 Was probably just gonna be about the BBS Trio being freed, and that'll probably happen in KH3, so there's no real need to make it, if hte content of the game would be in KH3.

It was set to solve one of the "Three great mysteries of Kingdom Hearts" going by what we saw, the mystery in question was "The period of the King's absence". I would have most likely taken place the year after BbS and continued on until just before KH1.

It makes more sense considering, BBS V1 focused on the BBS Trio, so it makes sense the next volume would do the same, showing Aqua being rescued from the ROD, Ventus being freed from his sleep, and Terra being saved from Xehanort's control.

Spin offs are usually meant to be called for the titles that without it the story cannot be complete or the story would be imperfect, so if you meant by (another): KH Days, KH BBS or KH3D then you are certainly wrong

In a secret ending everyone says Sora's name at the end. So I assume that also in bbs KH3 was planned for this.

 

Mayby Volume2 would go only about Mickey. That would be epic.

They done firetrucked up with this. They could have made a sweet game here people. They could have had 3 different scenarios (Aqua/Riku/Mickey). Telling everything we've missed out on..

The gummi rain shower in Radiant Garden, the fall of radiant garden, what Aqua did in the RoD and if she ever met Mickey there, what exactly Riku was up to during Days and throughout KH2 where he gets his own keyblade, Mickey's quest to find Sora's counterpart Keyblade, more about Xemnas' knowledge alluding to Ventus and Aqua. Could have been damn well interesting. Certainly could have been as good as KH 3D which is 90% filler.

We definitely saw Mickey in the Rod and I strongly believe that the pillar of Darkness was the Heartless being unleashed on the RoL when Xehanort opened the Radiant Garden Keyhole. Then there was the Castle of Dreams appearing in the RoD. All in all it looks like it takes place one year after BbS and we know that Terra and Aqua at least are still exactly where they were at the end of that game. If Ventus is gone, then it must have happened some time after CoM, because we know Roxas fainted in C.O. because he was too close to Ven and Sora.
