Roleplay begins now!  I urge everyone to please read at least up to Ozpin's speech and the message in the parentheses.  Also follow the topic!  You are responsible for keeping up with the roleplay.  Now last but not least, have fun! (:

 

4:00 PM

 

It's been an hour since every student's arrival to Starlight.  Before arrival, each student was instructed to select an eye wear located in the ship's interior to use as an instrument for tutelage.  Now that everyone has settled down quite considerably, they are instructed to wear their chosen eye wear for instructions.

 

Ozpin

"Your reasons for joining the academy, whatever they may be, no longer hold any importance.  You are here today to save your kingdom in this hour of need.  I am sorry for all your losses, but you all must strive to save whatever and whoever's left.  Due to this grueling fact, your kingdom has asked too much of you, requiring you to finish your training in one year, no longer.  Your sheer purpose is to become the best at what you do.  At your time at the academy, you will find that victory does not lie in brute strength, but something else.  You have the rest of the day to prepare, your training begins tomorrow.  You are all dismissed."  And with Ozpin's closing remarks, accompanied an echo in each student's ear, reminding them of the importance of their success.

 

Sky

"Mom...Dad..." Sky repeated to herself.  She had been wording apologies for the past hour, after hearing the horrid new of her parent's demise.  She wasn't sure how to feel anymore, but one thing was for certain: after Ozpin's beautiful speech, she was determined to become a Royal Knight.  Sky stood up from the edge of the fountain in front of the school, making her way to the co-ed lodging.  "I better get some rest."

 

Gen

"Hahaha," Gen laughed dryly.  He rubbed the back of his hair as he tried to cope with the grief.  He bore many inward emotions at this point, mourning in his mind, although outside, it was different.  He had appearances to maintain and certainly crying was not the way to do it. Maybe, I'll just- Gen's thoughts halted at the site of a beauty, one of many most likely, from across the way.  After a couple moments of drooling over the gorgeous girl, he continued his thought, forcing the last couple words out, "-just, talk to some pretty girls like her."

 

(During this day, the day everyone has been accepted as official students of Starlight, everyone will be limited to 10 in-character posts for each character, to prevent any unnecessary bulk/excess posts.  I also don't want too much interaction to happen since it might just prolong the whole day, which isn't really needed.  Also, I don't want people to be discouraged by the innumerable posts.)

 

(For future references, I'll be posting the huge messages that Ozpin will be sending to each student.  When your character actually starts going off on their own, you may take control of Ozpin as the system has programmed responses and such.  Try not to use him too much though.  Also, when I post a huge reply as Ozpin, it usually means something big for the roleplay.)

5:00 AM

Pram woke up at early dawn she looked up at Lotus Mai Rin and she dressed up to her usual clothes and leaves her room shutting the door. She took the steps down to the hall ways, she proceeded to walk until she would be able to walk no more.

 

6:00 AM

The child heard a loud sound that sounds like an alarm she listened to the sound to know where it's coming from and she stands in front of the door #11 as she continue to worry "Whats all the fuzz?" she questioned her self and knocked the door "Umm, hello is everything okay?" she waiting for someone to answer. "Why even bother!" She said to herself.

I'm done for the day. I changed my room number btw

 "Oh, that's a relief." Azura sighed. Deciding to make breakfast, she walked into the kitchen. The kitchen was just like the ones you see in hotels, but it still had all the metal appliances. She opened the fridge and was surprised to find bread, eggs, pretty much everything you need to make breakfast. 'I guess I'll make some toasts, scrambled eggs, bacon, and if I have time I'll throw in some pancakes.' She thought. Picking up two breads, Azura dropped them into the toaster. Suddenly she heard knocking on the door.

  "Ummm, hello is everything okay?" The voice came from the door. Azura opened the door to see a silver-haired girl with pig tails. "Oh if you're talking about the scream from earlier, nothing happened. Just my friend being...ya know herself." She nervously laughed.

The door opened and looks at her with empty eyes "Ah, I see I hope your friend isn't rushing and wasting her...energy. Uh Sorry for interrupting you must be busy right now. Excuse me" Her voice was calm as always and she bows to the girl in front of her "I must go now"  Pram sighed calmly, showing that she was bored by this dialogue and she parted away.

6:15 AM

 

Ayano turned over and hit her head on the wall, sitting imminently up and grasping her head.

"Ouch!!" She complaint.

Looking over at the clock, she looked down at a sleeping Sora.

"Sora!! Wake up!!" Ayano called, climbing down from the top bunk, grabbing her own clothes, and running towards the shower.

I'm done for the day. I changed my room number btw

 "Um, bye?" After watching the emotionless girl disappaear from sight, Azura got back into making breakfast. In the middle of cracking eggs, the toaster let out a bing, signaling the toasts were finished. Without thinking, Azura picked up the toasts only to yeep as burning pain shot into her fingers. "Hot, hot, VERY HOT!" She was practially jungling the toasts until she managed to place the toasts on the plates. Rubbing her fingers, Azura looked up to see Sky getting out of the bedroom. "Good morning Sky, I'm just making breakfast."

6:10

 

Maine felt fresh as new, and all energize for today, but he still felt the need to nap. After a minute or so he finally decided to get up from his bed and picked up a set of clean clothes to go freshen up at the locker rooms, before leaving he notice Gen was not around in the room. "Hmm...Must be a early bird", Main said to himself as he was walked out of their rooms.

6:30 AM

 

A single ray of light shone from the window and hit Alvis in the face. The bright light broke through his deep sleep, arousing him from slumber. He was about to turn around and go back to sleep when he caught sight of the clock: 6:30. If he remembered correctly, he had somewhere to be at 8. Alvis climbed out of bed, grabbed some fresh clothes, and went into the bathroom. After a quick shower, he was fully awake and ready for the day. He then walked into the kitchen and prepared himself breakfast: some cereal, scrambled eggs, a bit of toast, and the most important of them all, pancakes. Having skipped dinner the night before, he wolfed down the entire meal in no time. When he was done, he glanced at the clock again: 7:03. He washed all of the dishes, washed his hands, then went back to the desk by his bed, where his vest and tie still were. He put them on and pocketed his pocket watch. He then picked up two rings -- the 'storage' form of his gauntlets -- and put them on, one on each middle finger. He then took a look at himself in the mirror. He quickly adjusted himself, then looked up. Two eyes stared back at him, one black and one gold. Alvis gave a sigh as he put on his eyepatch. He pocketed his shades as well, before he headed out and started to make his way to the sparring building. It was 7:10.

As Pram make her way to sparring building she saw Alvis on his way too she gave a quick glance at him and looked away ignoring him before he can look back. "Just be your self Pram." she spoke to herself. She walk slowly not to not make any noises so she wouldn't get caught. "Why am I doing this!! This is rediculous!" she questioned her self, she smiled with a touch of malice "Why hello there Alvis how are you today? You wouldn't be going on the same route as I am wouldn't you?"

Lotus woke up somewhat late than she normally would on a regular morning. I feel like crap.  She thought as she looked over to the other bed. So I do have another roommate. How come i didn't notice her while i was asleep? Lotus got up and changed out of her orange satin night gown and into her regular clothes. After that she left her room and went to the locker room and opened up the locker that she was assigned to. She pulled out her goggle and places them around her neck then got her katana, still sheathed, and placed it in its holder on her hip. She rarely unsheathed it unless her opponent was greatly challenging. Lotus dragged her fingers across the sheath before leaving the locker room 

 

As Alvis walked down the path, he heard a voice behind him. "Why hello there Alvis. How are you today? You wouldn't be going on the same route as I am wouldn't you?" It was Pram.

"Oh, hey," Alvis replied. "Yeah, I was on my way to the sparring building." He turned to look at one of the buildings on campus -- it was only a few minutes away -- before turning back to Pram. "Perhaps we can get some practice in before, uh... whatever we're going to do at eight happens. I haven't fought in a while, and I don't want to get rusty." Alvis said, playing with the ring on his right hand. He turned back and resumed walking, but not before saying, "We still have plenty of time, but that doesn't mean we should dillydally. C'mon."

(Sorry again... I feel really bad)

 

5:30

Syfe stirred in his sleep. As he woke up, he looked over to his roommate, Ryan. It seemed that he was still asleep. Anyway, he needed to get up. While the time may seem early to others, he had trained himself to get up early. He stood, and grabbed the clothing he had worn before. He stopped by the bathroom, and freshened up, before dressing completely. Afterwards, he quietly exited the room, looking to explore the grounds.

 

7:30

'This place is huge,' Syfe thought to himself. By this time, he had familiarized himself with all the common grounds. He then realized that it was just about time to head to the training Ozpin had assigned. Syfe knew where his locker was, and where the sparring building was. He began to jog. It took only a bit before Syfe got to his destination. He went through the locker room straight into the sparring area.

 

"Pratice huh? Well okay I like to pratice with you if you want. A little pratice won't hurt and I admit I do feel a little rusty after coming here I havent had any pratice at all." She replied following Alvis to the sparring building thinking what else she should say. "So Alvis did you find a roommate yet? She ask watching him for a moment unsure of what he was thinking "You don't mind praticing with a girl?" she ask him calmly.

Alvis, not wanting Pram to take his statement the wrong way, quickly added, "Well, I like talking with you and all, but I'm not really used to having to interact with a lot of people." And they want us to work in teams? Alvis thought. Won't that be fun...

They finally reached the sparring building (with plenty of time to spare) when Pram asked, "You don't mind practicing with a girl?"

"Er, of course not. It's not like we're actually fighting." Alvis said as he entered the locker room. He then turned toward Pram and gave her an almost devilish smile. "Just don't expect me to hold back a whole lot."

Sora slid out of bed like a zombie, blinking. Her fox ears twitched. From the fact she had a grand total of four ears, she had not been disturbed by the loud scream of sky. She yawned and stretched, fastening her collar on as the first thing she did before gathering her second maid outfit and heading for the shower.

Bumping into the door, she actually....nya'd....before stepping back a bit and waiting patiently.

 

She wasn't really in much of a hurry right now.

Ryan slept. Or really, was half-dead. Most of his bodily functions shut down during sleep, including his breathing, but this was an ends to a means. During the night, any damage dealt to his body was sectioned off, shut down, and repaired on by his body, but until he was fixed, as a drawback to this, he cannot wake up, his brain effectively shuts down as it also is repaired from the strenuous mental work he also dose. Today wouldn't take much longer, and preparation for him was quick, his armor was able to self-clean and he normally took up tn minutes max. Ryan stayed asleep for a wile.

((I'll be introducing a new official idea, that is technically old to the RP.  Time stamps.  I'll be asking everyone from now on to write at the top of their post the time they are currently in or a general idea of this.  I ask this so those who can't post all day can retcon or insert themselves in the past and roleplay that way.  It's a bit roundabout, but it will definitely prevent people from being left behind.  We are not going past 8:00 AM for now.))

Pram tilt her head from one side of her shoulder making an innocent face "Of course...is just pratice isn't it?" she asked. Looking at Alvis with a devious smile "heh now this is getting intresting" She summoned her rapier to her hand, the child stood poised ready to fight waiting for his next move. 

Alvis looked at a nearby clock. "It's 7:30. We'll practice for... 10 minutes. Can't waste all of our energy before the main event."

Alvis bumped his fists together, and by doing so, his two rings made contact. They began to glow and expand until they formed two metallic-red gauntlets. They began to glow from the Dust that was stored inside of them. Alvis put his hands together, and a fireball began to form in the center of his hands. After it had reached a sufficient size, he threw it at Pram. "Let's see if your toothpick can block this!"

 

(We should probably keep this practice session short, inori. Don't want to take a whole lot of time.) 

((Showers are going to be located inside the dorms and also in the locker rooms for those of you wondering.  I'm doing this because people are posting according to either or and it's too much to fix now.  Group showers in lockers and private ones in rooms/dorms.))

Hazimie wake up early and look at his clock that says 7:30 a.m..Then,he immediately take a shower and then,he wear his usual clothes such as his Black Robe,Pants and Boots and Red Shirt and Gloves."Alright,better head to that apartment...."Hazimie said as he know what he should do as he leave his room,and leave the Dorm too as he heads to the apartment...

Sky and Gen

"Oh, thanks!" Sky said, grabbing a plate and sitting down on the round table.  "What a thoughtful thing to do!" she continued on, waiting to finish swallowing the current food she was chewing before speaking.  Her eyes grew big as she saw pancakes in the middle of the table.  Sky jumped at the pancakes, grabbing the whole plate and looking around a bit paranoid, resembling a hungry wolf.

 

Gen burst through the door, smelling the pancakes all the way from his room.  He looked around as animal-like as the girl protecting them and ran towards her.  Sky screamed in surprise as he tried to take them from her.

 

"Pancakes!" he yelled.  

 

"No!  They're mine!" she responded, equally tugging the plate from him.

 

The small battle between the delicious hot pancakes was a heated one and could only be stopped by an outside force, but before Azura could respond, the plate went flying into the air as Gen jumped like a frog and caught two in his mouth.

 

Sky was left with the other one and a half and became angry.  "What are you doing?" she asked, unable to hold back her frustration.

 

"Eating," he answered, taking a big bite of both pancakes.  Gen walked over to the kitchen, smiling at Azura to pick up the syrup on the table.  After generously applying some in his mouth, he gulped up the rest of the pancakes and went on his way.

 

Sky stopped the boy from leaving by pulling on the bottom of his shirt, telling him, "You!  Wait, come back here!" but it was no use.  The boy proved to be too slippery, running right out of the room.  "This is why I hate boys!" she yelled through the hallway, angrily closing the door.

 

Gen could hear her words as he sprinted to the locker room thinking, So she hates boys, huh?  Playing hard to get I see.

((OOC: Oh, if you start a long conversation with a person, do it quickly.  What I mean by this is be prepared to keep replying until you finish the conversation.  Not doing so, holds up the roleplay, as well as the person you're sharing the conversation with.  It isn't fair to the other roleplayers for you to hold it up, especially if it involves you just talking about the weather, how your weapons work or anything not really related to the main plot.  I'm sure you don't have to describe every detail of your life and how your weapon works to anyone.  It isn't needed.  This isn't story telling time, everyone is bound to slowly get to know each other through minor meet ups and experiences they share together and that in turn will acquaint the characters naturally, instead of just bluntly telling a random person your whole life story.  If they don't ask about your past, don't hold the roleplay up just because you want to go in depth about your character's heritage.  For one thing, it reads like a report, really dry, boring and I guarantee you half the roleplayers will skim or skip it altogether, and another, it isn't very artistic.  I'm not gonna name names, but I've seen quite a few of you do this.  Please avoid doing this if you can.))

"Tch..Toothpicks are for kids" she flips her pig tails back. Pram hit the fireball with her rapier directing to Alvis and teleports behind him "Watch out" she whispers at his ear as she backed away from him giving a devilish smirk "Dodge this!" Alvis's fireball continues to swoop at him. The child got distracted noticeing she got a blisters on her hand without being cautious she began to heal her self by using her rapier casting a spell with the dusts. She looked at the time "Hmm maybe we should stop after this" she asked herself.
