Roleplay begins now!  I urge everyone to please read at least up to Ozpin's speech and the message in the parentheses.  Also follow the topic!  You are responsible for keeping up with the roleplay.  Now last but not least, have fun! (:

 

4:00 PM

 

It's been an hour since every student's arrival to Starlight.  Before arrival, each student was instructed to select an eye wear located in the ship's interior to use as an instrument for tutelage.  Now that everyone has settled down quite considerably, they are instructed to wear their chosen eye wear for instructions.

 

Ozpin

"Your reasons for joining the academy, whatever they may be, no longer hold any importance.  You are here today to save your kingdom in this hour of need.  I am sorry for all your losses, but you all must strive to save whatever and whoever's left.  Due to this grueling fact, your kingdom has asked too much of you, requiring you to finish your training in one year, no longer.  Your sheer purpose is to become the best at what you do.  At your time at the academy, you will find that victory does not lie in brute strength, but something else.  You have the rest of the day to prepare, your training begins tomorrow.  You are all dismissed."  And with Ozpin's closing remarks, accompanied an echo in each student's ear, reminding them of the importance of their success.

 

Sky

"Mom...Dad..." Sky repeated to herself.  She had been wording apologies for the past hour, after hearing the horrid new of her parent's demise.  She wasn't sure how to feel anymore, but one thing was for certain: after Ozpin's beautiful speech, she was determined to become a Royal Knight.  Sky stood up from the edge of the fountain in front of the school, making her way to the co-ed lodging.  "I better get some rest."

 

Gen

"Hahaha," Gen laughed dryly.  He rubbed the back of his hair as he tried to cope with the grief.  He bore many inward emotions at this point, mourning in his mind, although outside, it was different.  He had appearances to maintain and certainly crying was not the way to do it. Maybe, I'll just- Gen's thoughts halted at the site of a beauty, one of many most likely, from across the way.  After a couple moments of drooling over the gorgeous girl, he continued his thought, forcing the last couple words out, "-just, talk to some pretty girls like her."

 

(During this day, the day everyone has been accepted as official students of Starlight, everyone will be limited to 10 in-character posts for each character, to prevent any unnecessary bulk/excess posts.  I also don't want too much interaction to happen since it might just prolong the whole day, which isn't really needed.  Also, I don't want people to be discouraged by the innumerable posts.)

 

(For future references, I'll be posting the huge messages that Ozpin will be sending to each student.  When your character actually starts going off on their own, you may take control of Ozpin as the system has programmed responses and such.  Try not to use him too much though.  Also, when I post a huge reply as Ozpin, it usually means something big for the roleplay.)

Getting up from the bleachers, Alexander went up to the table where the roster was placed. "Let's see 'Match #12: Alexander Gryphon vs. Perry Hatter', who's he?" "That's me your looking for" ((He'll be Indigo for conversations sake)) "Hello...I'm Alex-" "Don't waste your breath" he said in a dark tired voice "Are you ready to lose?" "Actually, I'm ready to win, let me just get my cuffs you should probably get yours too." walking over to the other table Alexander eyed the table full of cuffs. "These look good" He grabbed a pair and was off his Perry following after. "You ready" "Always have been always will be, time to get this how on the road!"

First Person Point of View

we began to fight as kick and punch were thrown and delivered one by one. Perry seemed to have some experience with boxing and simple hits but nothing to special. He had seemed to have relied on diversions and tricks, as well as his absent weapon. I had used my knowledge of Karate, Jujitsu, and Kick-Boxing to tire him out which had seemed to be working. Perry came back with some punches, he even landed one in my stomach. I wasn't going tom let him stop me know. "Quitting time already?" "You wish! I'm not going to let the likes of you tear me down!" I started back with a barrage of kicks and punches a set of each alternating between techniques. until he fell to the ground."I guess you were right, but know this you won't see the last me.

Back to Normal

And with that Perry walked into the distance as Alexander grasped his fist. "I won! I can't believe it. I just hope next time I sparr I don't hurt anyone to bad. I don't want anything happening like before." He opened his eyes and walked away 

 

((I'm not really sure what to do next but the battle didn't take to long and the speech didn't either so I guess I'll just wait until the times declared 11:00 AM))

Maine quickly studying the girl fists speed, he soon to begin block and dodge all of them with enough speed that could match hers. Darn how fast can this girl be? Losing himself in thought, Maine was quickly sucker punch in the face. He staggered a bit trying to steady himself, Maine then went full on offensive and quickly  sets off to send multiple palm strikes at the girl being a bit ticked off by her speed.

Maine's strikes went on for a few minutes and Lotus was able to dodge half of them. She got striked a few time, leaving her feel a little bit bruised  all over. Lotus did a back flip back and away from Maine. This would be so much faster if I has my sword, she thought, a bit annoyed but didn't bother to show it in her face expression. Lotus sighed and came at Maine again, swing her foot toward his side

I'm starting to get a bit drain over here, but luckily I got a few strikes in Maine thought to himself. Maine expecting, Lotus to swing at anytime with her foot like she did the first time at the very start of their duel, jumps over behind her to get out of the swing, but quickly tries to counter with a palm strike at her back.

6:49 A.M.

 

Alexander woke...eyes drowsy and his eyelids weighing down still. He sat up...and went back down.

 

7:20 A.M.

 

After a short second sleep, Alexander woke again at the sound of an irritatingly beeping alarm. Luckily, he had no roommate to.complain about it. "Crap...I should still make it on time."

Alexander got ready rather quickly, making sure he had his contact lens on as well. He combed his hair down a bit, and proceeded on, ready for whatever it'd be like, training here.

 

7:47 A.M.

 

Alexander came to the gym, where everyone else was at. He was listening to his music, as usual, and stood waiting until 8:00, once Ozpin hadfinished his speech, and Glynda Goodwitch had given her short speech as well. (No weapons?) Alexander though. (Seems illogical...but I don't mind all too much. I have martial arts experience, and I'd consider fairly good, or a bit over decent at it. I just wonder how my opponent is....) He began wandering around.

 

 

 

"Don't be late, don't be late, don't be late!!" Yumiko repeated to herself, running into the room almost late. 7:58 A.M., as soon as Yumiko sat and waited, Ozpin began. During and after the speech, Yumiko was constantly glancing around. (Well...there's the girl that might hate me....) Yumiko looked at Sky, (And theeeeen...well, I don't see that boy I helped yesterday. Oh, well.)

7:30 am

Ayano finished her shower and getting ready, she didn't eat knowing she'd end up being late. She ran to the locker room, managing to remember her combination....and by this time it was...

7:50 am.

"I'm gonna be laattteee!!!" she thought, grabbing her weapon Kurai Moon.

By 7:55, she made it too the gym. Obviously tired and stressed out. 8:00....Ozpin's speech began.

"I want all of your weapons off of your possessions, this will be hand to hand combat."

"What?!" she cursed under her breath, clenching her fist. There was no way she was going to be able to do this.

"The losers will suffer consequences."

Ayano gulped. What kind of consequences?

She looked over at Sky, the boy who yelled and sighed. Sora wasn't here yet so she had nobody to talk too. Ayano slowly stepped beside him, a bit nervous to talk to someone.

"Hand-to-Hand combat. Losers will suffer consequences. Do you think you'll lose?" she asked, looking at him.

"I'm Ayano Keirako...and one of my friends is named Sora Takagi. She isn't here however...." Ayano said with a forced nervous smile on her face.

Sky looked to her side to see a new face.  To her enjoyment, it was a girl.  Phew, I thought I was going to be approached by another guy... that would have sucked, she thought to herself.  Sky quickly put on a brave face as she forced another smile on her face.  No matter what Azura told her, it was hard to let go and just be herself.  "Hi there!" she said, a bit too loudly.  "I don't know about skills, but it's a boy... I have to win!" she said as literal fires appeared in her pupil.

 

8:03 AM

Having already found his partner out, Ryan just went and got a set of cuffs for himself, and placed them on. "This'll be fun. That Gen kid barely looks capable in a fight, ha." he thought to himself, then walking into room two. He removed his armor, feeling speed would be a better friend here than his armor.

Gen approached who he deduced to be Ryan already wearing the cuffs.  "Hey there, you ready for this?" he asked as he pointed to the first room down the hallway.

And with that, Sky saw her opponent.  Sky quickly scoffed her opponent off from the distance and marched onto room four.  Eric Blanc, her opponent, followed behind her, not knowing what to actually do.  As soon as she reached the door she opened and quickly closed it, slamming it right in his face.  "Well that's not very nice!" he said, voice muffled behind the door.

Ozpin and Glynda had both finished talking. Syfe had taken his pistols off his person. The cuffs were on both his wrists. He stood on one side of the mat, waiting for his opponent. Someone named Cindy. Finally, his victim arrived. She stood across the mat, and spent no time small-talking. Both were quite eager to start this battle. Syfe took in his opponent. She was a spindly girl, blond hair pale blue eyes. She was quite skinny and pale, and her hair covered her eyes. He knew that his opponent was probably not very strong, but he also knew from experience not to underestimate others. As Syfe readied up into a fighting position, his opponent charged. It was a stupid move. She was overly eager. Syfe quickly sidestepped, and gave Cindy a shove. Unfortunately, she had too much momentum so she rocketed past his strike. She did however, trip at the end of the mat. Syfe stifled a laugh, and got back into position.

He took them out of his pocket and placed them on the table. No one better steal these, or we're going to have one less student at this school, Alvis said to himself. He picked up a pair of cuffs and placed them on his wrists. He then walked to the table with the list. "No.1... against... Alexander Davis..." The name was not familiar to Alvis. He just shrugged and walked to the designated room. Alvis sat down, waiting for his opponent.

"I'm such an idiot!" Azura said to herself. After the little incident with the pancakes, she took a shower only to realize there wasn't a towel for her to dry on. So that began Azura's mini adventure to find a towel sitting in the closet (while leaving wet footsteps on the way). Finally managing to dry herself and changed into her regular outfit, Azura now had to look for her locker which took 5 minutes. Now, she's running to the gymnasium feeling completely clueless since Azura have no idea what they're doing.

 

Bursting through the gymnasium doors, Azura found herself seeing people going into rooms. Suddenly, a black-haired girl that looked about 18 years-old towered over her. "Are you Azura?" The girl's fiery eyes burned for the answer. "Uh...yes-" Then the next thing Azura knew was being dragged by a strong hand, her hands being cuffed, and practically got thrown into 'Room 6' like a small kitten. Landing on her feet, Azura was not in a good mood. "Hey! What the hell was that for?"

 

"Look, since you came late I'll tell you what we're doing. Hand to hand combat, winners gets prizes, losers gets punished, and you have until 11:00 AM to finish your oppoment. Oh and by the way, name's Alice, Alice Bizzare." The girl yawned. Azura blinked letting the information sink in. "So I'm guessing you're my oppoment?" Alice cracked her knuckles. "Yep, and don't expect me to go easy on you since you're younger," Her eyes glistened. "I won't hold back."

 

Azura got into her battle stance wanting to beat the crap out of this Alice for treating her like a kid. "So will I."

As Hazimie has arrived at the Gym and hearing Ozpin's speech,he began to use the cuffs that he had to use during the hand-to-hand combat."So i have to use this,eh?well,it's better that i have to learn to fight with my bare hands....even if it's to protect people by using that..."Hazimie said as he touched his left eye that has been covered with his eye patch since his left eye has been blind and he remembers of what he went through during his past.Then,Hazimie forget about that and continue to live on as he went to see the Roster.Let's see.....so i have to fight a girl named Yumiko.....better meet her..."Hazimie said as he want to find Yumiko around the Gym...

Gen accepted the gesture and followed suit.  He closed the door behind him as he introduced himself.  "The name is Gen Mayfair.  You're Ryan Whin, correct?"  After Ryan answered or not, Gen stepped forward to bow in front of him.  He might have had a personality of a joker, but he was very humbled and respectful when it came to things like this.  "I'm ready when you are."
