Could Xehanort be a Time Lord...?

Posted

Think about it. He started off as an old man (well, okay not anymore *KH3D*), he's been reincarnating himself, he travels through time and space, has been involved in all sorts of timey wimey shenanigans, travels to many different worlds, occasionally has a "companion" of some sort, extremely clever, sees himself as a god-to-be, and has varying styles of fashion.

I'm not saying he's anything like the Doctor. In fact, if anything he is closer to being the Master if you take into account the whole "body stealing" thing. But he doesn't really need an apparatus to travel anywhere or anywhen, and most of his Keybearer abilities can't really be compared to a Time Lord's abilities to the same levels or nature.

Still, an interesting thought nonetheless, right?

(Yes, I'm aware this might seem a tad ironic, if not hypocritical, since my first outburst on this site was on a Kingdom Hearts meets Doctor Who sort of topic, but that topic sort of got me thinking about this idea, and hopefully could be a sign of no hard feelings?....Anyone?)

Except he doesn't really have a companion.  He has pawns.  Bar their purpose they are nothing more to him, whereas the Doctor tends to develop quite a bond with his companions.

Near every character in KH travels to many worlds, it's a common thing.

He's possessed with merged with Terra's body, not really reincarnation.

He's gone through time once to give his younger self the ability to collect the rest of his vessels for his plan.

They aren't necessarily reincarnations as they are possessions and shattered parts of himself. He didn't 'die' like a Timelord then regenerate. He just possessed poor Terra and used the subsequent Nobody and Heartless for his own goals.

Also, I doubt Xehanort has two hearts. Or any hearts for that matter!

No, DC is timelord.  He rollbacks the site like nothing.

Xehanort can time travel once according to the KH mythology, which he already done that during his heartless state as Ansem SoD

Secondly, the new members of the True Organization XIII are not nesseccarily multiple incarnations of him,but either new members or old ones but this time the cloning process is working on them just like Xigbar and Saix(the KH3D Journal says Saix, not Isa....deal with it)

Xehanort isn't a time lord, but rather the lord reincarnations

Seriously how many incarnations he has as of now???

Himself

Terranort, which became Ansem's apprentace due to amnesia

Ansem,The Seeker of Darkness:An emblem heartless that host Master Xehanort's heart

Xemnas,Leader of Organization XIII,who has the possessed body of Terra

And finally his younger self from the past

and he still wants minions that are copies of himself

It's either Xehanort wants to give them the power to wield the keyblade,or he's so full of himself

Hahahaha, LOL! I thought it was funny when you put, "full of himself."

Full of yourself can only happen to you if you only have clones for company.

Nope. Nope nope nope nope.

Xehanort is nothing like a Time Lord. He's travelled through time at that one point, but after that, you're just really stretching it.

Xehanort is however a LOT like Lord Voldemort.

Xehanort and Lord Voldemort both have possessed people. They are both bald. They have both assumed names they didn't have originally. (Tom Marvelo Riddle = Lord Voldemort. Xehanort = Ansem.) They are definitely Dark Lords, both of them.

Voldemort put parts of his soul, the seven horcruxes, into different things, one of them being Harry Potter. Xehanort took parts of his heart, and used them to possess an array of different people, even going so far as to try and do it to Sora.

Both of them have a stick of power. Voldy's wand, Xehanort's keyblade.

Both have an unnatural eye color.

And most importantly of all... no matter how many times you think you've defeated them, they always come back for the sequel.

Well, I knew this theory wouldn't last long.

But since everyone seems to keep bringing up the whole possession thing, can I just repeat that I did say he was "more like the Master than the Doctor" for that specific reason. Rest assured, I don't think he's anything like the Doctor, as far as species and personalities go. And yes, Timelords are completely different no matter which species you compare them with. Still, Xehanort has possessed innocent people, a trick I happen to recall the Master performing on more than one occasion.

Oh, and since I forgot to put this in here, there are (or at least supposed to be) Thirteen versions of the guy. Does this mean I'm serious about this? Honestly, if that's the twist they put in Kingdom Hearts 3, I'm done with the series FOR LIFE. I just thought it was funny since despite all of these obvious differences, they had quite a few similarities. This would be as far as I would want to take it, though I'm sure it's already been fan-fiction'd to death.

I made a topic about this very subject as well! Here it is: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/59433-master-xehanort-is-a-time-lord-for-dr-who-fans/

Wow, people gave you more of a chance than me. I guess it's a stale idea by now.

Never really thought of that before. Makes sense, but they still have some differences as well.

Xehanort doesn't have a pet snake (unless you count Vanitas, but you would have a dirty mind to think that).

Voldemort doesn't have that much of a fashion sense (if I had a pound for every black cloak in the entire franchise....I still wouldn't know how much money I would have in the UK)

Xehanort.....isn't British?

.....

God I suck at this. Can someone else take over?

Well it was only a few weeks ago when I posted my topic to be fair :)
