So, way back, I payed in full for my copy of KH1.5 preorder. Well, after work, my sister did me a favor and grabbed the game for me.... But supprise! It wasn't. They charged for another 43 something bucks for it. It's been so long since I preorderd my copy that I threw out or lost the receipt by mistake, so I have no proof of ky purchase... Except I have a Gamestop card. If I recall... A Gamestop card is suppose to track these things, yet an error occoured anyway. I'm going to be checking into it, seeing if any record exists on my card of my Preorder being paid in full, but let this be a lesson to everyone: frame your freakin receipts and hang them on your wall until the day it comes you need them.

Ouch, that sucks, dude. Friggin' GameStop...

Luckily for me I still have the receipt, but I'm still a bit worried that something will happen.

That sucks... It's probably a good thing that I usually preorder online. Hope you can get it sorted out, man.

If you're a reward member, you should be able to view your past purchase, and pre-orders on your account.

Agreed, I still have my receipt from when I reserved a copy of Pokemon Y

Gamestop being gamestop. Heck even Nintendo World would detect if I paid it without receipt, and they have no membership type of cards. (They probably would want me to confirm via state license+other stuff like phone numbers)

I like to preorder well in advance, so yeah, I didn't remember to keep it on me.

I had an awesome experience with my local GameStop today! I renewed my Powerup card and got my game for only $17! I was pretty hype. Apparently I pre-ordered a game, bought it somewhere else by accident forgetting I pre-ordered it there, so the clerk used that money to bring the price of my game and power up renewal down. I was pretty happy about it lol

I think you should start pre orders on amazon. They have great customer service and will work with you. They gave me info about when my dynamic theme code is coming. And helped me out on other things also. Very nice people.

Reasons like this are why I'm done with GameStop. The Wind Waker HD will be the last thing I get from them and from that point on, Amazon will take care of everything.

 Legally, I can't. If they place the disclaimer on an area that I can see, and it says that I can't use it as a reciept, my hands are tied legally. Even if I went to the BBB(its not FDA, that's for food and drug safety, what I think you ment was the Better Business beruo[or however you spell it...], they would likely deny my claim due to lack of usable evidence to support my claim.

Like I said, it had been many months, and for a long time Gamestop hasn't given me issues like this, so I thought it would be OK.
