So I was playing KHFM just now, and I had just gotten to the Clayton boss fight. Right after the Lizard bucked him off, the sound got completely distorted and started sounding like short bursts of audio that were comparable to the reversed version of the Song of Healing in Majora's Mask. I couldn't fix it without exiting the game, but it worked when I restarted it. I should note that nothing else was wrong- the framerate was fine, everything was all crisp looking as usual, but the audio was completely screwed up.

Anywho, has anybody else noticed some audio glitches in 1.5? Like, the sound will just randomly cut out for a sec at the beginning of a scene? I'm loving this collection so far, but these are bugging me. (also, did anyone else see Ursula's tentacle clipping through the wall in the scene where Maleficent is talking about what happened to Clayton? lol)

I really hope they release a patch for this.

Lol, I just did that part. Nothing happened for me though.

I havn't had anything of the sort happen to me.

You can actually trigger this sound glitch manually. Basically, set up a new deck and add one card in and then exit out all the menus. Pause, re-enter the deck editor and add 1 new card in and then leave. Repeat until deck is completely full and then clear it. Start again with a new deck. After about 10 or 20 cards, the game's sound bugs out and this is the result.

Yes, I tested this and it worked 3 times in a row.

I didn't encounter any problem. It is probably a random bug.

I didn't encounter any glitch so far,maybe it's a random bug.

Anyway,I think an update will be made soon unless they're still busy with FFXIV

The only glitches I've come across are Ursula's giant lazy eyes (oh god the eyes) and every I bring up the start menu it has a buzzing sound.

I think I did. I'm almost positive it's my ps3 though, it got a bit fuzzy and the music was skipping and you couldn't even recognize any sound or music. I haven't had it since.

I found this thread through google. I made an account so I could post here.

I just wanted to share that I had this exact same sound glitch at the exact same spot--just after beating Clayton. It also happened just after beating the pirate boss in Wonderland. OP did you get it there as well?

I've heard plenty of complaints with the sound (had them myself, and it even cut off completely in a Halloween Town cutscene); it's probably an issue with the game itself.

I've encountered this glitch in KH a few times, one during the colloseum, and another during the Lotus forest, only way to fix it is to reset my PS3. It must be the game, I've never had this problem with other games

I had a glitch where the sound just cut out completely. I was in Traverse Town leaving the Moogle Shop through the doorway and when I left the sound just stopped. It only came back when I went through the Moogle Shop and went down the ladder. It was weird. It's only happened to me once though.

I had the same glitch. Died trying to kill Maleficent in dragon form. Loaded the game then choose to skip the cut scene. Sound went nuts. Had to shut off the game. I thought it was the skip feature. Guess it's just the game itself.

never had any sound problem in this

So far I have encountered two scenes where the characters are speaking but no sound. And they are not the speech bubble scenes, actual movie ish scenes where the voices can be heard. I am wondering if those two scenes where Japan exclusive scenes and if when final mix was brought over, some scenes couldn't have sound.

The Final Mix scenes have no sound except when Sora fights 'Unknown' and then it's only his and Goofy's voices that you hear.

Ah I see. Thank you so much for clearing that up!

I had an issue on the second visit to Hallow Bastion. The music was playing for a second and then cut once Beast and Sora were speaking. When I was able to move Sora, there was absolutely no sound except when I went to the menu. In the menu though, the music was very choppy and sped up. It really scared me xD I thought my game took a shit on itself haha. It was fixed once I restarted the game, but it did freak me out.

I know may be old but, i have an answer! Try to change your ps3 sound setting so it wont output at 5.1 or higher surround sound. Disable the the surround sound. It worked for me!
