What game systems do I need to play all the Kingdom Hearts?

Posted

I want to play all the Kingdom Heart series games, but I am a poor college student and can't spend hundreds of dollars to get a bunch of systems. Any ideas?

Also if anyone knows where I can go to read the Kingdom Heart manga let me know.

PS2 for Kingdom Hearts, Re:CoM, (or PS3 if you want to get the collection) and Kingdom Hearts 2.3DS for all the DS games, 358/2 Days and Re:coded, and DDD.PSP for BBS.

Under the assumption that you'd like to be able to play the most recent version of the game, these are the systems you will need:

-A backwards compatible PS3 (For Kingdom Hearts 1.5 [HD remake of KH 1, KH Re: Chain of Memories, and Cutscene movie of Days] and Kingdom Hearts 2)

-A PSP (For Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep)

-A 3DS/2DS (For Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days [if you want to play it for yourself], Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded, and Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance)

You can also play the original KH1 and KH Re: Chain of Memories with the backwards compatible PS3, but you'd need something that allows for GBA items if you want to play the original Chain of Memories.

As for the Mangas, if I recall, I think we have some of them posted here?  I'm not quite sure.  I think they're here though.

The manga is in the sites gallery, or you can find it on different manga sites.

Just get a PS3 and get 1.5. Eventually 2.5 will come and the KH3. Stick with PlayStation.

This, but you may need a 3DS for Kingdom Hearts 3D.

Actually just recently there was like a rumor or statement saying 3D might come with 2.5.

PS2 = the original Kingdom Hearts, Re: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 2.

PSP = Birth by Sleep

3DS = Dream Drop Distance

DS = 358/2 Days, Re: coded

GBA = Chain of Memories

PS3 = 1.5 HD ReMIX (contains HD remaster of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Re: Chain of Memories, and a cutscene compilation of 358/2 Days)

PS4/Xbox One = Kingdom Hearts 3

What all this means is, wait for TGS. A second hd collection is probably going to be announced, and it will probably be out for the PS3, and bring all of the games with the exception of Dream Drop Distance to the PS3. It will be in your best interest to get a PS3 and start saving for a PS4.

I personally prefer reading the mangas on an actual manga website to on here so try www.mangafox.com.

It was a quote from an article and it was an opinion. Not exactly ground to stand on in the rumor mill.

You forgot to put '3' next to 'Kingdom Hearts' for the PS4/Xbox One :)

HOW COULD YOU!? :(

Anyway PlayStation 3 and Nintendo 3DS. And a PS4 in four years.

I'm sorry! I just like how you can go to the next page simply by clicking on the current page rather than going to the button at the top of the screen. And the picture loads more quickly on mangafox... I love everything else about this site though! And this site does tend to upload new chapters faster.

The manga's on Ebay, Amazon, and other sites.

$15 buck'll get you the first 4 KH manga's, $20 for CoM, unfortunately up to $50 apiece for KH II.

I know. And with that, I hope it's true.

For the gba issue, I recommend a DS Lite as it was the last nintendo ds system to still have a gba slot. Or you could just get a gba sp if you'd like.
