My sister had this crazy idea that if Apple made a game console, they would make even more money. I told her the console wouldn't sell. Why? Simply because they already failed with that Bandai Pippin thingy. And also because it wouldn't compare to the other consoles on the market. Apple doesn't develop game technologies, even if they decided to, it wouldn't be as good as Sony or Microsoft consoles because they have been creating game consoles for years! Look at Nintendo, they've been on the market for years, yet their consoles haven't compared (graphically) to the other consoles. That is why I think that if Apple was to release a console, it wouldn't sell...At least not the first version. My sister says that Apple die hard fans would buy it and she's right but how many of these fans are also gamers? It wouldn't compare to the other consoles on the market?

Hardware power doesn't always equal sales

 

We can't predict that a console migth sell or not just based on it;s hardware power.

 

Heck,the Ps1 was weaker than the Saturn,Dreamcast and the N64 but it sold waaaaaay more than any of them

 

In fact,if we looked at history of games from the beginning,the weaker consoles seems to sell more

 

the NES sold better than the Master system

 

Both the SNES and the Sega Genesis sold more than the Atari Jaguar

Yes I think anything apple puts out in the market these days will sell.

Graphics graphics graphics...  Why is it always about graphics? I say let them try, if they fail, it's their own fault.

Yeah you are right, but usually people who buy game consoles are gamers right? And I think gamers usually take a look at what the console can do before buying...I do.

Personally, I hate Apple. So, if they make a console, I hope they put so much money into it and don't sell any consoles, and end up closing.

It all depends on the games....something Apple will never be able to offer

 

I mean honestly can you compare games on apple to that on any of the consoles in terms of Gameplay at least??

 

Yeah they might be able to make pretty graphics but they won't be able to produce something as good as say.....Mario Galaxy or the Last of Us or Kingdom Hearts

 

Besides,I myself hate Apple and wasn't fond of their products to begin with

Well a lot of people who have iPads simply play games on them and shit.Also, we know people enjoy wasting money on overpriced bullshit so there's a chance an apple console would sell. Maybe not as much as the other consoles

I honestly think the only people who would buy an Apple console are people who are both Apple f*a*g*s and gamers, of which most apple f*a*g*s are not.

Fool. Apple already has the all the game system they need. Darn Iphones. Those do tremendously well. They can just make games for that.

I agree with MasterXemnas, Apple already has "gaming." Still, I don't care what anyone says, little games to play on the toilet is not exactly gaming.

Their Operating System doesn't even sell that well.
