Hey there everyone, how's it going? You know, after the Kingdom Hearts series, the Assassin's Creed series is my second most favorite video game series of all time. I've played all of them, with the exception of Liberation because I don't have a PSVita, and I have to say that the premise and the story and the gameplay are tons of fun! I fell in love with the beautiful architecture of the cities, and I was impressed by the awesome voice acting and the well written script. And there's one little tiny detail that some people might overlook, so I'll say it here in said opinion.
The Assassin's Creed series serves as a great History tool. For example, if someone in school asks you for information on a building or on a certain important figure from the past, the Assassin's Creed games are your destination for obtaining the info! That's something I really liked about the game, I personally found the Database to my liking. I don't know if any of you think the same, but the Database serves as a great source of historical reference. (Except for the part where Assassin's are mentioned, because that part is fictional, lol.)
Now then, concerning Desmond's story in the series, I have to say that the most immersive and most awesome story arc is that of Ezio Auditore Da Firenze. I mean seriously, the guy is a badass! Don't get me wrong, as much as I loved going through Revolution era America, I have an affinity and preference for Ezio's story. And the coolest thing about him is that you see his growth from a brash young man to a wise and experienced old man. Not to mention Revelations gave us great character depth for Altair's story. This is just my opinion, but I really love Ezio's trilogy, with Brotherhood being my all time favorite.
So, in conclusion, I'd just like to say that this video game series is amazing, and I'm looking forward to playing Black Flag, and even though Desmond died, (That sucked for me...) I hope that the series doesn't hit a downslide. And I hope that the series doesn't go in a Call of Duty direction! As long as the games still provide a good story and interesting gameplay, I'll happily play the games! So then, what do you all think of the Assassin's Creed series?
