The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted October 10, 2013 Hey there everyone, how's it going? You know, after the Kingdom Hearts series, the Assassin's Creed series is my second most favorite video game series of all time. I've played all of them, with the exception of Liberation because I don't have a PSVita, and I have to say that the premise and the story and the gameplay are tons of fun! I fell in love with the beautiful architecture of the cities, and I was impressed by the awesome voice acting and the well written script. And there's one little tiny detail that some people might overlook, so I'll say it here in said opinion. The Assassin's Creed series serves as a great History tool. For example, if someone in school asks you for information on a building or on a certain important figure from the past, the Assassin's Creed games are your destination for obtaining the info! That's something I really liked about the game, I personally found the Database to my liking. I don't know if any of you think the same, but the Database serves as a great source of historical reference. (Except for the part where Assassin's are mentioned, because that part is fictional, lol.) Now then, concerning Desmond's story in the series, I have to say that the most immersive and most awesome story arc is that of Ezio Auditore Da Firenze. I mean seriously, the guy is a badass! Don't get me wrong, as much as I loved going through Revolution era America, I have an affinity and preference for Ezio's story. And the coolest thing about him is that you see his growth from a brash young man to a wise and experienced old man. Not to mention Revelations gave us great character depth for Altair's story. This is just my opinion, but I really love Ezio's trilogy, with Brotherhood being my all time favorite. So, in conclusion, I'd just like to say that this video game series is amazing, and I'm looking forward to playing Black Flag, and even though Desmond died, (That sucked for me...) I hope that the series doesn't hit a downslide. And I hope that the series doesn't go in a Call of Duty direction! As long as the games still provide a good story and interesting gameplay, I'll happily play the games! So then, what do you all think of the Assassin's Creed series? 2 Kittenz and Gamerazor247 reacted to this
Gamerazor247 877 Posted October 10, 2013 I honestly don't care about Desmond's story.... I got so lost in the middle of AC2 that i didnt even care anymore... I prefer the actual assassin's story over Desmond's... And I got bored of AC when they had the First civilization come in... And those face models wtf happened... IMO Free running in AC is the best part ESPECIALLY IN AC3 am I the only one who thinks Connr Desmond and Haythem had a limp in ac3?
RoxSox 3,593 Posted October 10, 2013 I think the only truly good Assassins Creed game is II, and the others are all either horribly repetitive or terrible. 1 No.XIII reacted to this
Hei 3,233 Posted October 10, 2013 They were interesting, but they've grown stale. It was actually a chore to get through AC3 for me, it was just ehhhh.

Lalalablah 1,539 Posted October 10, 2013 Yea honestly I learned (actually retained but it doesn't sound as good) more about history in the three AC games I've played than in my world history classes. I love these games, especially the music.. AC2 was my favorite, then Brotherhood. Revelations was eh.. It seemed all over the place and the story was lacking. And I hated doing that first person mode with Desmond. Also I agree, I loved the architecture
