So now that Flowmotion (or bold action or what have you) has been confirmed to make a reappearance in Kingdom Hearts III, what, if anything, would you like to see added or changed to Flowmotion to make it more awesome?

Personally, I want everything that has been included in Dream Drop Distance, with a bit more of a free-running/parkour flavor to it! I'd like to be able to run on walls and buildings, hurdle over obstacles, and do neat flips and tricks in the air! And an ability to attack while still running? Oh MAN, WOULDN'T THAT BE COOL!?

I know it may sound like I want the game to be more like a Sonic game, but is that really such a bad thing? I'm only asking for more freedom, style, and speed to be implemented into my Kingdom Hearts experience, and by God, that would make the game 20% MORE EPIC!!!!

But anyway, what would you guys like to see done to Flowmotion in Kingdom Hearts III?

Some of the flowmotion mechanics don't really make sense outside of the Dream Worlds... Then again, you've been able to Glide since the start of the series, so I shouldn't be applying logic to KH mechanics xD

I would like Flowmotion to return as long as it isn't a complete copy, and is slightly more realistic. Or completely unrealistic like the Theme Park ride attacks... A magical flying ride somehow makes more sense than Sora being able to fly :P

As a fan of flowmotion I completely agree, it would make the game so much more awesome.

I'd also like to have a more developed flowmotion in KHIII, use the environment to it's fullest and yeah, running up the walls like in that one reaction command scene in the first battle against Xemnas at Memories Skyscraper, just that you don't need a RC to do so and do awesome chains of moves and you choose in which order. And not just the environment, in KH3D you could use your enemies too.

So basically, the KH3D flowmotion already gave so much more freedom (so much, I actually missed it in any other previous game) and it is pretty much given that they will make it even better and I'm very hyped for this. A big reason for me to love KH is it's freedom-based gameplay (that's why I hate round based rpg's) and it already had so much freedom and possibilites in the very first installment, got better and better later on until KH3D where flowmotion came in and added a whole new meaning to the word "freedom" and I think KHIII will double that feeling.

Yeah, there's not much point to applying logic to a world where people can fly, run up walls, land on their feet from over 50 stories without any injuries, and can slice through buildings with a baseball bat. But it would be one BAD-ASS WORLD TO LIVE IN!!

I'd also like to see some free running in the same vain as Assassin's Creed plus Flowmotion.

A story purpose of going to the Sleeping Realm was to re-teach Sora and Riku how to fight as Keyblade Masters should (like the BbS trio) instead of hobos who fought each other with wood then continued to fight epic battles the same way. So now they should fight a little more like Aqua, Terra and Ven in terms of powers and stuff.

I also hope that it is a little more realistic. If they keep it like the E3 trailer where Sora jumps off a building and onto the wave of Heartless, I'm cool with that

If jumping off of walls and surfing enemies is realistic, then the world is becoming a better place! ^^

Fool. I don't like the dashing at any wall and being able to make a huge jump off it. Platforming was completely useless in 3D's.

....WHY!?

Haha :) I'm meant it's more realistic than jumping onto a wall, glowing purple, sitting on the wall for a second than jumping off.

Omg it has confirmed? MYGOD

It has been confirmed!? Oh man! I loved the flowmotion in DDD! So I hope it will be kinda the same, but maybe looking a bit more like freerunning?

That reminds me to the Kingdom Hearts 2 E3 trailer, at 1:35 to 1:45

I would like if it returned but not as flashy. Maybe just as a mechanic we could use to get over obstacles in the environment like we saw in the trailer with Sora running and jumping off walls. It shouldn't return as a form of attack because in DDD it was way too easy to exploit flowmotion against most bosses imo.
