So, after I had a 70% at Portuguese and 50% at Geography and some little complainings about me talking with my best friend, my parents decide that I'm not going to be able to lay a finger on any device or anything that I like.

 

They don't take me seriously, and if I try to stand and fight back, the only thing they will do is probably ground me and break my belongings.

 

I always thought of them as good parents, anyone could see that... I was even spoiled for kisses and hugs...

 

They think that video-making is something meaningless... when I mostn eed support, they aren't there! Editing is something I LOVE, something that makes me happy...

 

They want to force me to study all the time to get good grades... and then everyone will think that they "are the bets parents with the most intelligent kid of school"... and yeah, they WORK on my school...

 

I'll be able to go to my PC on Friday and Saturday, but those days will probably be full of study time duo to the tests...

 

I wish I could just leave them... or even... throw them into the VOID!

 

To be honest, they never say anything good about me... what they do is complain and complain... like everyone else!

How about trying to raise your grades and work on respecting your parents more since you like to bash them for wanting you to have a better education and work ethic ? Until you move out and support yourself you shouldn't be whining about your parents trying to actually parent you .

To be fair a lot of parents (or older people not of the facebook/socialnetworking generation) who didn't grow up where editing videos (or doing let's plays, make up videos, How tos, etc online) was even a hobby let alone an actual career see it as nothing more than a waste of time, if you were getting amazing grades though they couldn't complain, so if you raise them they really have no leg to stand on.

I agree with the government, but don't you dare say that Portugal's the worst country in Europe.

 

We have great food, great drinks, excellent soccer players, great musicians, an awesome history and culture, etc.
