Nintendo why did you decideto shut down Swapnote ENTIRELY??? I mean honestly, instead of Nintendo shutting down swapnote altogether they should have done something that was a bit more....hmm how should I say this...mature. I can understand that Nintendo is kid-friendly but did they SERIOUSLY have to shut down swapnote just because of a few punks using it for child pornography? In my opinion Nintendo should have handled that situation a little bit more appropriately. Instead of shutting down Swapnote and pissing off a bunch of people who use it a lot they should have just shut it down (temporarily of course) and maybe add some stuff like moderation so people don't post stuff like that ever again. Much like Miiverse on the Wii U. That, in my opinion, would have been a much better solution instead of just pissing off a bunch of the fans who love Swapnote and use it apropriately. I mean I honestly never used Swapnote since I don't find it to be all that interesting. But this was a very bad way to handle a situation like this and will only make everyone think that Nintendo are a bunch of babies if they can't even handle things like this appropriately (i.e. the Sony and Microsoft fanboys). Nintendo needs to learn that things like this will happen from time to time and should have been more prepared for something like this to happen.
