Nintendo makes the best commercials for their handhelds while Sony makes the best commercials for their consoles. Pretty ironic, right?

SCE makes the best consoles while Nintendo makes the best handhelds. Not ironic.

It's actually in compliance, since the two companies are advertising their strong points best. Ironic isn't the right word.

Fool.

Nintendo makes the best commercials for their handhelds while Sony makes the best commercials for their consoles. It makes total, perfect sense.

(CoughOpinionsCough) I like Nintendo's consoles and handhelds better than the others. Just because you like Sony's more doesn't mean everyone does.

Well where's the third-party support for Nintendo's home consoles? Nowhere. As soon as the PlayStation One was released, Square Enix jumped ship so it's main home console was PlayStation. And they did this because PlayStation's hardware was years ahead of Nintendo's. The only Nintendo home console to sell well since the SNES is the Wii and the Wii only sold so well because it's hardware was so outdated, so it cost hardly anything.

First of all, I don't care about third party vs first party. Nintendo makes fantastic first party games, which is why I love their consoles. Secondly, it was just Square back then, they hadn't merged yet. Also, keep in mind I was just stating MY opinion. Also, there are third party games on Nintendo's home consoles too, Monster Hunter's a great example.

Nintendo's games are repetitive. They're nearly as repetitive as EA who won't even support the Wii U. Lol. Okay, Square then. But it doesn't change the point. Since FFVI was released on SNES all major FINAL FANTASY games since have been developed and produced for the latest PlayStation. And while they aren't big fans of Microsoft they also release their latest games on Xbox.

If you actually tried a Nintendo game, you'd realize that they're not as repetitive as the Sony and Microsoft fanboys claim they are. If you want repetitive, then look at EA, or any competitive FPS not made by Valve. Also, I personally find that the FF series took a HUGE drop in quality ever since going to Playstation. The only FF games on the Playstation I actually enjoyed were IX and X. So I don't give a crap about Square moving to the Playstation.

I've had a look, they look very repetitive. It's the same games remade for their latest console. Mario is the prime example.

I have looked at EA, and they who love porting their titles won't even do it for the Wii U. What's up with that? Clearly something's wrong with it.

Ummm. Last time I checked the most loved FINAL FANTASY games were made for PlayStation One & PlayStation 2. I'm speaking of VII, IX & X. And look at XIV and XV.

A look. There are thousands, millions of fans who love Nintendo's first party games such as Mario, myself included. There's a lot more variety to them than you Sony fanboys make it out to be.

Screw EA, they're a bunch of idiots. They were rated worst company two years in a row for a reason.

Most loved? I say most overrated. 7 was bad, 8 was absolutely horrible, while 9 was decent. 10 was the only one I could fully enjoy. Also, XIV's an MMO, so screw that. XV looks good, but given that they're pulling the emo cool guy main character again, the story won't be nearly as good as 4, 6, or 10.

I'm not a Sony fanboy mate. Lol. I've had plenty of Nintendo consoles and I've used the Xboxes.

And yet EA still make fantastic games that sell great every year.

And yet they're calling XIV one of the best MMORPGS ever. Wow, calling someone an emo. Lol. If VII is so bad how come it makes so many prequels and sequels? I never mentioned VIII. Lol.

Given how much you worship Sony systems and bash any Nintendo system past SNES, I'd say you're a fanboy.

Explain why so many people hate EA then? Their games really aren't that interesting.

I don't care, I hate MMOs. Also, yes, an emo. Because I'm sick of the "Cool emo guy" stereotypical protagonist in RPGs. As for VII, I said I dislike it. I see a lot of flaws in it personally. Doesn't mean everyone hates it. And I mentioned VIII as an example.

I feel like Sony commercials lost their charm after they dropped Kevin Butler

Well they're repetitive but that's because they have to be, you can't change Madden or FIFA too much each year. If it an't broke don't fix it.

The thing is, EA only published Madness Returns and the original Alice.  In fact, American McGee's Alice was EA's first M rated title published.  I actually enjoy the Sims on the PC though, so I'm not completely upset with them like most others.

black star also owns a ps2, psp, and is saving up to get a ps3.

hardcore nintendo fanboy right there

Apparently I'm a fanboy just for liking most of the systems a certain company has made... If I was a fanboy, I'd like the Virtual Boy, and own every type of DS/3DS there is. And I don't. Also, I own a PS2 and a PSP, so I'm not just stuck to Nintendo.

Since nobody noticed the thread had derailed, it eventually ended up sinking in a swamp.
