Posted December 5, 201311 yr Popular Post It's looking pretty good so far. Andrew Garfield is a much better Spider Man than Toby Maguire.
December 5, 201311 yr Seems awesome, I really liked the first one. I guess there are also more funny scenes in the Amazing Spider Man. Toby Maguire was cool, but his accting is not very good. I liked Andrew's better so far (even though he's a douche from what i've heard)
December 5, 201311 yr Wow, already this movie is exceeding my expectations. I am a huge Spider Man fan, and I'm so glad that Andrew Garfield is doing Spider Man justice, and you know, while I was seeing the trailer, I thought, wow, this will be one hell of a thrill ride. Also, am I the only one that thinks that maybe Venom might be teased, or perhaps Carnage? After all, Richard Parker did work with Eddie Brock's father on the symbiote in the Ultimate Spider Man series, but since Eddie hasn't appeared in this current incarnation of the Spidey universe, it may be unlikely. Anyways, what am I saying? Sheesh, I'm just thinking out loud here, lol. Anyways though, this movie looks amazing, and it comes out on May, the official month of my birthday! Frickin sweet!

December 5, 201311 yr I think Tobey Maguire has the voice for Peter, but Andrew Garfield has the look. Still, I loved the first movie, and this one looks awesome. Edited December 5, 201311 yr by Orchestrafanboy19
December 5, 201311 yr This looks to be shaping up rather well. Except for all the people on the internet who seem pre-determined to hate it. It's looking like Rhino is going to be the villain for the first part of the movie, and he'll be dealt with rather soon. Just a villain to set up the early parts of the movie... I get that impression because there wasn't much of him in the trailer, and what we did see of him seemed to be all at one part. When you see the suit go down and you see the horn and the feet stomp it's all part of the same scene... so either they don't have effects of him from the latter part of the movie finished or he's only going to be a small part of the movie. They're definitely setting up the Sinister Six. Look at around 2:00 and you'll see that there are six doors that open... that taken in with the fact that you see Vultures wings, Doc Ock's arms, and that just seems to be the direction they're going. That guy at around 1:15 is definitely the guy we saw in that ending scene of the first movie. The hat and all that... and I do think that it's probably whoever's going to be the Green Goblin. Something about his size and the hair... I'm not sure whether to think it's Norman or not. Looking at him in the bed at 1:33 it could be. Basically, I'm not sure whether to think it's Harry in the suit or not. Their stature seems different and the hair doesn't really match... so I don't know what's going on there. They might kill Gwen, they might not. I dunno. I love how much they're leaning towards the Ultimate Spiderman side of things. Mecha Rhino An Electro that literally glows with the power of his electricity. (I also think that the most recent Electro in the comics glows blue, so it's kind of a mix of the two new iterations. He was also black and he wore a black jumpsuit. So more Ultimate for ya. Now, I think they're taking a cue from the Ultimate comics with Greeny but not going in that direction entirely... he's got green tinted flesh, but he's not a hulk monster, so I think it will be brought about by some kind of transformation, but not as extreme of one as in the comics.
December 5, 201311 yr I always wanted to punch Toby Maguire in the face...no idea why though...The moive looks good though
December 5, 201311 yr I love the first one, so I hope this will be even better. I'm worried it'll fall under Spider-Man 3 syndrome where they have too many villains, but I'm hoping they've learned from past mistakes. Although, I gotta say. Harry's hair? Not doing it for me. Slightly, if you watch it in hd and you go to the part where Harry shows Peter that Oscorp was spying on him, theres a little text that days "Venom File" or something along those lines This looks to be shaping up rather well. The Goblin is Harry Osborn, the guy you saw walking down the hall with the Doc Oc arms was a person named "The Gentleman" he has something to do with killing Peters parents... Also he is the man that will set up The Sinister Six

December 5, 201311 yr Wow, it looks like there will be quite a lot of villains in this one. I mean, Electro, green goblin, and Rino have all been pretty much confirmed. Not only that, but it looks like the Vulture and Doc. Ock may be in the movie as well. Definitely looking forward to this.
December 6, 201311 yr Looks awesome! Hopefully with multiple villains, it'll still be a well paced movie. Also more Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone love chemistry which is always great.
December 6, 201311 yr Has that been confirmed? It just seems odd that they'd skip Norman entirely. It shows Dane DeHaan fighting spiderman on a glider... How much more confirmation do we need?
