mkay, so does anybody know where the royal guard is. In kh1 when Donald gets the king's letter, and he goes to speak to goofy, he mentions the fact that goofy is the leader of the royal guard, and Donald is the head mage. so why aren't the royal guard and the other mages ever mentioned. Are they fighting the heartless? If they aren't, Why not? I feel like an army would fare well against the heartless.

If goofy is the leader, you know there's a problem.

As with Sora's parents, they most likely weren't integral to the storyline to actually bother animating or providing a story for.

Maybe the guards are the broomsticks... A standing dog with an army of walking broomsticks guarding a magic key-wielding mouse that's King of an entire world with his best friend a duck that's a mage... sounds about right.

They all turned into heartless. That's how the castle got overrun so fast in KHII.

They're actually doing their jobs, patrolling the town, not sleeping like Goofy.

Royal Guards- Goofy Goof                      Horace Horsecollar                      Clarabelle Cow

Court Magicians- Donlad Duck

                          Clara Cluck                          Peter Pig

That's what I think anyway.
