So, I'm wondering,

1. How will they save Namine? She's with Kairi. Can the keyblade that returns hearts be used on her? Or will they only save roxas and xion?

2. Xions appearance. Will she still look like kh1 Kairi or will she return looking like kh2 Kairi?

2. She'll look like herself in Days.

As for #1 I'm sorry but...

Ain't nobody got time for that!

Ansem the Wise's data will be key as stated in DDD( and Nomura ) as well as the new 'key' mentioned in recent interviews to bringing back several characters like Namine, Roxas, Xion and such .Since they all grew hearts I think one way is to give them a body like Kairi gave Sora when she purified him and gave him human form

As for Xion she will appear as how Roxas and Axel ( eventually) saw her - the black haired version of Kairi since this is how she also saw herself .

1. Same way they save Roxas, and it's not a Keyblade, Nomura already hinted that the "Key to Return Hearts" may be something else entirely. They need as many wielders as possible, Roxas is a wielder because his original self is. The same must be true for Namine. If the characters are smart enough to figure that out then she'll be back.

2. She should look like KH I Kari since Namine already looks like the KH II version.

1. That doesn't rule it out though since Nomura might be hinting that that key could possibly save others in a different manner than say Ansem the Wise's data. But it's still could be used to save people. ( Example- maybe it can help Norts like Saix/Isa get their hearts back from being consumed by MX's heart ..Same thing with Terra. Different characters need saved in different ways .

2. Why would she not just look like herself in Days ? That was how she saw herself and how people like Roxas and Axel saw her even though at first Axel mentioned her looking like Namine bc he hadn't met Kairi yet .

If it were a Keyblade Nomura would have said something like "I can't discuss the details now" or "I hope you'll look foreward to finding out" In this case he actually said something like "maybe not a Keyblade" Is't the most direct answer we've ever gotten from the man. That's what we're talking about, her model does look like KH I Kairi as much as Namine's looks like the KH II version.

But I never said it was a keyblade . I'm referring to it could be a 'tool' of sorts to saving or bringing back fallen comrades but in a different manner . It doesn't need to be a keyblade for this just like Ansem the Wise's data isn't a keyblade but is specifically mentioned as a way to bring friends back .

As for Xion , thanks for clarifying what you meant.

So then we are in agreement.

Yes :)

As much as I like both characters, I'd rather they both just stay gone. I thought the semi-tragic ending for both of them was very fitting and a good way to cap off their character arcs. Even if they were to come back, I don't really know what else the characters would do, development wise. I mean, they could go on and live their lives, sure, and that that would be nice. But I think there's a satisfying conclusion in play already that doesn't need to be disturbed.

I just want the main protagonist

(Sora)

and the other protagonists

(Riku,Kairi,King Mickey,Donald Goofy, Roxas,Xion,Lea,Namine,Aqua,Terra and Ventus)

to fight in this final battle against the new organization.
