It would be pointless due to the fact I am buying 2.5 next year. But I never played it before( lost my DS)  wondering if it is worth buying

I'm not sure I understand your question.  You want to buy Re:Coded but you lost your DS?  Okay, I'll assume you have a 3DS.  It's actually a pretty fun and decent game to play, if you're not worried about money or anything, I say go ahead and get it for the gameplay, just don't expect too much out of it in terms of story/plot.

If you have the money to spare, yes, if you have other things you'd like to buy (and you're definitely getting 2.5) i would personally not bother buying it until I've got the other stuff I want.

It's an okay game. Doesn't add much to the plot, but I say try it out anyways. Gameplay is quite fun and is a generally fun game to play. If you're more focused on 2.5, then I'd say stay focused on that.

I think you should try it. It's a cool game.

Gameplay wise it's worth it . The story is nothing to write home about but it's not horrible either.

have fun :D

No, don't buy it. It's not worth it, especially given that 2.5 is coming out. You can watch the cutscenes on youtube and you'll be just as well off as anyone who played the game. Sure, the gameplay is quite entertaining, but playing through worlds I've done a million times before gets boring and stupid after a while.

Sure. It's okay.

Yeah. It's really fun.
