The Becoming Of Immortals: More Gods Edition

Posted

Hi, it's me. Josh. You may know me as just another nameless RP'er, but I have a magnificent story to weave!

You see, you know those gods? Not God god, I'm talking about the GOD's! The Romans, Norse, Egyptians, all of them! This guy I know is one of them! Of course, I don't fully believe him, but I'd like to tell his story, because trust me, it's a good one!

You see, those gods existed! All of them, and the intermingled in harmony. Until one day, they don't know... Well, they might have known, but they didn't tell me, because they don't know now (I'll explain) there came the darkness. It was a powerful force, turning men against women, god against god. A few strong gods resisted its power, and sealed it away. They wanted to stop it, kill it once and for all. They couldn't, not with their power.

Then they figured it out! Reincarnation! That ought to do it! You see, the leftover gods thought that, in reincarnation, Their energy would increase due to the new vessels being able to contain more power. Maybe even teach them new tricks! Some did it later than others.

But something went wrong. They got their memories wiped. Some had backup plans. Others did not. My friend did; but we will talk about it later

Let the story begin!

It was another boring school day for Haymich Theosin. He had just returned from school, which he hated, save for History. He had a weird fascination with the gods unit. He felt as if he was one of them, as wierd as it seemed. It seems to be the opposite of how he normally behaved. He was always a person who couldn't stay in one place. He loved to travel, the change of pace, the feeling in his hair, the-

20$ that he just stole from the lunchroom bully.

Dammit.

I mean, sure, the bully had it coming...but theft was wrong... Right?

He felt a rush of energy wave over him. It was sooo good...NO. He shook his head, and continued to walk. He had a bad feeling about today. Not bad...strange

(It kinda is rude to leave someone behind fyi. Cant be here 24/7. Now I gotta find an excuse for Melody to have not followed you or something and it kinda screws he out of character interaction.)

Melody watched it all then walked away. Whatever. Not her problem. Only the girl talked to her.

The cats dispersing, Melody went back to her home in the park. Climbing a tree, she nestled into the small treehouse she had made in the thickest part. Curling up in some blankets, she went to sleep as owls stood silent sentinel. Cats prowled around the base of her tree, and Melody slept soundly.

(Sorry. I've been trapped at home. My friends are out of town, I can't go anywhere because of my cast, and I'm an only child...)

Yina was walking in the streets. When suddenly she saw a girl with two men. The girl looked scared. Yina walked to them "Good night. Is everything okay here?"

(Just rememberother people won't be home all day. Or if they are, they might not be here all the time.)

(Okay)

(You guys went crazy with this, but I like that we've made some progress!)Noir looked at the clock, just waking up from a beautiful nap.  Night had come.

"Looks like it's about time for me to head out," she thought.

She quickly jumped up, grabbed her coat and walked out the door.  From there, she got into her car and drove off, eventually arriving to the town in a few hours.  The brunette parked the car in the parking lot, took her necessities out and walked into the hotel she had reserved.  Even though she was alone, she was well endowed, usually earning that income from odd jobs that used that large noggin of hers.  Noir dropped all her belongings on the floor and fell into the bed.  She looked at the clock, it wasn't time yet.  It wasn't even close.

"Now what?"

It was night time and Venny was finishing one of her favorite romance novels, sighing to herself wishing she could have a good man in her life once in a while. Tonight seemed darker than others but it felt mysterious at the same time. She didn't know why, but she wanted to go to the local famous library and check out some more romance novels...She didn't know what it was, but something was beckoning her to venture out into the night and she didn't feel threatened since nothing usually...err interesting happens in her life. She kicked on her boots and opened her front door to venture out into the night. Not knowing what adventures awaits her.

Mody woke up to a screech from an owl. She peered out of her treehouse.

Just two teenagers looking for a peivate spot. The mass of cats disappeared into the brush, but the owls remained there.

Melody settled against the back of the small house, then sighed.

"Why can't people find a hotel."

"YATA!" Ember's voice echoed in the courtyard. She had swung her blade, slicing through a wooden beam she had set up. The top part slowly slid off and onto the ground. Ember smiled at the thunk it made. She had only recently discovered this power, and using it felt great. At the moment, she was practicing in the courtyard of an abandoned hotel. Not that she needed the practice. Every weapon she summoned she could already use expertly. But practicing was an excuse to use her abilities. Ember smiled at the euphoria she was feeling from slicing, shooting, and stabbing. The orphan grasped her water bottle and sipped.

"Good question." A voice spoke near Noir. Shi stepped out of some nearby shadows. Shi looked at the girl. She was older than him, but not quite an adult. The boy of death examined the girl. He could sense something within her, similar to him. Shi also wondered what she was doing in his room. Then he remembered that it wasn't technically his room. He had shadow traveled to it by accident, and decided to set up a sort of base in it. At least, his base until people caught onto him. Then he'd have to run again. Shi sighed in his head. That seemed to be all he did now. Run away.

Venny heard a faint slice of a blade in the distance while she was travelling to the library and her interest was piqued. As her course changed she saw a dim light atop of a tree and realized it was a tree house and saw a figure resting comfortably there and Venny called out to the figure when she realized it was a girl, "Hey!!! Do you know what is going on at the hotel," she paused, "I hear what it sounds like...fighting? Do you think we should check it out?" Venny waited for the girl's response. Her romance novels have to wait another night....sigh...

"What are you talking about?" terra asked really frighten that she was moving back from them in total fear.

"It seems that she won't come quietly..." Said 1"Force might be needed..." Said 2

"Get away!!!" She cause a firewall to sprout up from the ground that she gets really scared.

"After her!" Said 1

2 cast water to extinguish the wall, and the case began.

Melody flaired and nearly fell out. She shyly looked over the edge.

"I didn't hear much...just some others earlier..." she called back. "W...why do you want me to come with you? No one cares about me..."

"Huh?" Noir, jumped backwards as a strange boy appeared before her from the shadows.  "Who are you..." she asked, less alarmed then she should be.

The girl Venny called out to seemed a bit odd, but she could just tell the girl was nice, even if she seemed a little hesitant. It was like an instinct that always nagged at Venny; she could pick up on others' emotions and feelings instantly.

"I think something is happening over there and I just get this feeling that we should go," Venny explained, "And there is someone that cares for you out there, you just gotta find them," she paused, "but I don't think you-and even me-should be alone at night, so let's go check it out?"

"By the way, I'm Venny and uh, what are all those cats doing around you?"

Shi continued to stare blankly at the girl. He blinked and refocused. It'd been awhile since he had actually interacted with someone. "Me? I'm Shi." Shi said bluntly. Then he remembered that he should keep quiet about his name, considering he was probably most wanted minor in the state by now. Shi hadn't really done anything wrong, all of it had been in self-defense. Kind of. When the gang members found him in the graveyard, Shi unleashed a power he didn't realize he had. And... he had accidentally killed them. That was wh a t started this running. Shi continued to look at Noir. "And who are you?"

"Alice Noir.  What are you doing here?" she nonchalantly asked.  There was a strange boy in her hotel room, yet all she did was ask him questions.  This girl had no sense of danger, it might be her undoing.

Yina saw the firewall appear. What!? More if this freaky stuff? She turned around and ran away. Yina didn't want to be part of it. She went straight home and went to bed. The next morning she got up, took her schoolbag and went back to her school. She didn't mind what happened yesterday anymore. Today would be normal again and she would only concentrate on her schoolwork. While she was walking she took her book out and started reading.

Kurami wasn't able to speak...as usual. She stared out the window for a couple of minuets, tried to play her already beaten video game, and quit.

"I am half tempted just to go flying tonight. It's perfect weather." She snapped.

Kurami sighed, she wasn't going to. It was too cold for her. She lay down again, and it took her a couple if hours, but she finally got to sleep.

Melody climbed down the tree. A few owls swooped by.

"Animals follow me. Mainly owls, falcons, and wolves. Cats occasionally." She hugged herself. She was the first nice personnsince her parents disapeared. "And I don't know...I haven't found someone yet. But...no one seems to care for the orphaned and homeless."

Melody stepped closeer to Venny. She looked at her strangely, then took Venny's hand in her own. She was hesitant, squeezing a bit. She seemed surprised when Venny was real.

"You are real? Not my mind playing tricks?" She looked at Venny's hand. Venny, now with a closer look, could see her hair was unkept and her jeans dirty. Her shirt was ripped in a few places, and beneath the rips were some healing scratches and a few scars. The faded image on the front was Halo.

"..I...I'm Melody."

Arawan was walking through the Allyways walking his three dogs. Anni, Nuro, and Busio. He never liked walking amongst other people but today he especially didnt feel like walking out in the open. He had to do it nevertheless to follow his normal route. He was hapfway through his walk when he told his three dogs to sit, they obeyed, he then lossened his grip on the leashes and unzipped his jacked but in this time the dogs growled suddenly and without Arawan's preparation they dashed off out of his grip. "Uh! Hey wait" he yelled and then made haste.

The three dogs turned the corner and went past a girl that was running towards them and leapt onto her two persuers, maws opened wide with razor sharp teeth at the ready, the dogs went for the throats as if trained. Arawan arrived soon after to see his dog leap onto the people and the girl run past him.
