What is the weakest/worst Disney movie ever?

Posted

Today we're gonna discuss the weakest/worst movies of Disney so far. Especially the recent Disney movies.

And it's only about Disney, not other companies such as Pixar or Marvel. Don't bring 'Cars 2' here.

So, I always wanted to watch 'FROZEN', the newest Disney movie. The early trailers sounded a bti childish, but the newest ones pointed some interesting points of the movie.

At first I thought the movie was bad and weak, but then I started to pay it a little more attention and saw it with my parents... and listened to the songs for once... and I really enjoyed it... eh, sometiems we gotta see a thing twice to like it.

Dayum, all of this Frozen hate. lol It's got some problems, but a lot of Disney movies aren't perfect either.I'm disappointed in nobody mentioning Home on the Range or Oliver & Company. Ya'll need to get your priorities straight.

For me, the weakest ones are a bit older than the rest. It's The Aristocats. I don't remember one thing from this movie. Same goes for The Rescuers. However, its sequel, The Rescuers Down Under, is a BAJILLION times better and more memorable than the original.

For the worst ones, for me, it's Home on the Range, Chicken Little, and, (I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this...) The Black Cauldron.

I'd explain in detail why this is, but I don't want to you to have to read a lot of text.

Honestly, a lot of the old Disney films didn't do it for me.  I didn't think they're bad, but I only watched them to say I watched the classics.  If I had to pick one, though, Peter Pan just from how much Peter's personality grated on me...

Pinnochio was pretty balls.

Yeah. Peter was kind of a product of the time.

( My personal opinion, no one get pissed  )

Beauty and The Beast II: The Enchanted Christmas.

It has no relevance, the story makes little sense, and the sense of Belle slowly falling in love with this Beast is replaced by nothing.

It was a terrible film and sequel.

It's okay. That film isn't part of the official Disney Animation canon. So, that film never was connected to the original in any way.  C:

Good.

Direct to video, wasn't it?

Correct me if I'm wrong? But is the only reason people hate Frozen because of the fandom? Lololol, It's not a perfect movie like I mentioned before, but come on, It's not THAT bad. I know, I know, it is your own opinion and all, but hating something just because it has a lot of fans is just... weird.

Unlike some in this thread I'm not going to count spin-offs or sequels, none of that Disney Channel stuff or any of that other straight to video/dvd stuff. Only the "Disney Classics" line.

Home on the Range is the single WORST Disney film I've seen. I only own it to complete my Disney collection otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.

As far as weakest go, anything from when they released Chicken Little to Bolt are Disney's weakest films in my opinion.

(I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this...) The Black Cauldron.

Don't worry, I doubt many people here have seen The Black Cauldron. Personally, I liked it but hey man opinions. :)

Personally, I love all the animated Disney movies, but I'm not such a big fan of the sequels/prequels that release direct to video.  The only direct to video sequel I loved to death was The Lion King 2.  I mean seriously, the movie was amazing, the plot was intriguing, and Kovu's voice actor is the same voice actor for Noel Kreiss in the FF XIII games! :D  And let's see, I also loved Lady And The Tramp: Scamp's Adventure, because I thought Scamp and Angel's budding romance was adorable.  But as for the other Disney prequels/sequels, I haven't watched most of them, and the ones I have watched have left me with not so good impressions.  I saw the prequel for Tarzan...and ugh, just no.  But oh well, what can you do?  But yeah, in general, I love Disney films! :D
