Actually,DNA modification was hinted by Colress in BW 2 if I remember correctly

 

So yeah,X & Y revolve around DNA,which would explain that the Mega Evolution might be a result of either Team Plasma or Team Flare's experiment

I loved this direct but I was a bit disappointed with no DEMO! aww come on release a demo on the Eshop for those who can't attend those special places.

OMG! Nearly about loss my voice when I watched the Direct just now. Mega Charizard!!!!!!!!!!!! This is totally going to conflict with my starter choosing now. I want Fenniken, but I also want Charmander. I stated before I was looking for THAT water pokemon. Now I've found it thanks to Squirtle. On my 1st playthrough, unfortunately I'll choose Fenniken and Squirtle. 2nd playthrough, I'll choose Charmander and Froakie.

I'm thinking of names for it. I can't decide between Amber, CARL, Kuzco, or Alpacalypse. But, in all seriousness, I'm not sure if I'll catch it or not. I mean I'll catch it for the PokeDex but It's one of those Pokemon I'm unsure about. It looks really plain. I wish it had some sort of gimmick cause now it's just an animal but, It seems cute so I'm happy I just can't wait for high quality art work of it.

Mega Blastoise looks so cool, 3 cannons now haha I think I'm loving this new Mega Evolutions it's really goign to spice up the battles now. I wonder if the anime will using Mega Evolutions too.

I HAVE to get double water! I did it in fifth gen with my Empoleon and Samurott so I'm going to have Froakie and Squirtle. I still might choose Fennekin but it all depends on the evolution. My brother is getting Fennekin and Charmander so I'll easily be able to beat him in most battles we have. the only problem is we both want X. If anybody here wants to trade a Swirlix and a Clauncher for Skrelp and a Spritzee I'd be happy to trade.

If Fennekin ends up being a Fire/Psychic then I'm kind of good.

Since they will be part -Psychic, -Fighting, and -Flying.

I might train Torchic and Charmander and one time and then box them and then train them again at some other part of the game.

I don't see how that can take away the Light Ball since the Light Ball only works for Pikachu not Raichu.
