Nintendo have announced Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for the Nintendo 3DS. They will both be released worldwide on October 12, 2013.

 

Don't care for the anime/movie, but...

 

 

Looks like Dancie will be our first legendary Pokemon event. Probably a stupid "here you go sir!" event rather thank unlockable area to capture it.

 

But that title... Cocoon of Destruction... And Dancie. lol way to kill the movie title's vibe, but like I said I could care less.

Movie's title. It sounds "destructive" or epic, then they slapped a name when they could've though of something more clever. Like I said IDC, I just found it funny.

Awesome. I look forward to getting this Pokemon whenever Game Freak releases a X/Y Pokemon event. I will definitely level up this Pokemon once I capture out. I just hope that this Pokemon won't take a million Pokeballs just to capture it.

I may definitely get this Pokemon. I've had my eye on this Pokemon ever since it was leaked.

Assuming their available in-game, or it's just stories unlocked once you obtain the events, similar to BW with Meloetta and friends.

Diancie time! Well not yet.

 

 

Not surprised it was related to Cabrink. Same typing and Pokedex descriptions hinted at it somewhat. Nice change that Dancie appears due to a rare mutation from Cabrink, although it still is an evolution technically speaking. (Except you can't evolve it- I guess to keep Dancie unique.)

 

But what's disappointing is that how they worded Diancie would be obtainable; looks like another straight giveaway and not a capture. Great... SRing will be a bitch with no 31 IVs and no synchronizing nature option. >_<

 

Still I'm looking forward to it, just not that much.

Warning, the following only matters to those who play on Pokemon Showdown or on wi-fi following Smogon's rules, not Rated Battles, Random Rated/Unrated Battles, or VGC rules sets.

 

Smogon's first suspects test has ended. To be reminded that these are players who played on PS with enough points on the ladder to qualify to vote. (Since people love to blame the higher-ups of Smogon for every ban, even with people putting their 2 cents during those discusions.)

I'm not surprised at the end result. What I am surprised is at how many qualifying voters went for the ban than to stay or abstain towards M-Lucario. Hahaha oh well, I didn't give a firetruck if he got banned or not. One less threat to deal with. (Buh bah mixed variations!)

 

On the brighter side, Genesect once again has been banned to ubers. Just barley though... 60% was the required percentage for the suspects to be booted off. Stupid versatile bug. Once again only Heatran could come in safe, but dat U-turn spam. 

 

Deoxys-S couldn't even get near the banning requirements. Now with the former two gone, I wonder if this guy's usage will rise. Probably not by much. 

 

I'm curious what could the next suspects be, as I don't see anything else that is being overcentralized and such. I guess time will tell if due to the two bans will have certain Pokemon and strategies rise to the point of questioning. The only annoying thing I see is M-Venusaur, but it can still be dealt with, even if it's the super common Talonflame. (There's others, so maybe a suspects test can happen with him included, but I doubt it would be booted due to Talon and friends.)

How hard is it to counter Mega Lucario honestly???

 

One Earthquake from Excadrill under Sandstorm can take it out

 

Mach Punch from Conkeldurr with the guts ability can take it out

 

Heck Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y can beat Mega Lucario

 

So it's not like Mega Lucario was impossible to beat really,sure Adaptability STAB boost is a huge threat with Close Combat and Bullet Punch,but there is something called strategy,training and proper Team set up...who in their right mind would sent a Fairy or a slow pokemon against Lucario without any kind of support??

 

And it's not like Genesect was that hard to beat either as,just like Scizor,it goes down with ONE fire attack,sure it has the ability download and a diverse moveset,but again,strategy and proper planning

 

Look,I'm not blaming the higher ups in Smogon only based on their banning decision,I blame them because they qualify any random person with high enough points

 

Not everyone with high points could be super expert or can make the right decision,at least they should do some sort of filtration so they can pick the right people for the job not just put any random dude with high score to be there

No, your logic is if it can be revenged killed easily, it shouldn't be banned. Those were simple example. I'd post calcs on M-Lucario's common counters (which is a few) can't come in safe before being 1-2 KO'd, but you'd still insist on planning when the best thing you can do is predict, which isn't healthy when you have to predict like crazy on a single Pokemon. It has such a great move pool, it's hard to have a wall to stop it. If I were you, I'd play the metagame more and rank up to see how these and near the top players play before judging. You sound silly when calling them lazy when they worked hard to qualify to vote. No matter how long or short it takes to finish the match I only get barely 20 points per match

 

I currently have 1100 points in showdown and most of it comes from these rare matches where I might get 100+ points

 

I've played tons of matches on showdown and won many of it but I stopped recently because I was busy with X&Y

 

Also,not everyone who has high points might worked hard for it....some might got it by sheer luck(Not about winning,about the points generator in showdown) of getting over 200+ per match or more

Nah, they fixed the ladder system. Before people were getting a lot of points for one match. I hit around 1300ish, but stopped due to bank. I think the ladder is reset by now, so time to face mono teams lol. (The 1000's a lot of times have these teams, I dunno why)

Sorry guys, looks like another step in hacking has occurred. At least people can't create flawless mons yet. (I think) On the plus side, cloning is possible on XY. No more suffering to collect 200 BPs!

 

Also we get to see these shinies. (Too bad no one can get legit shinies due to the shiny lock, stupid GF implementing shiny versions just to never have it available)

 

 

Yveltal looks awesome! Xerneas is nice, but Zygard looks weird in those colors.

 

About the unreleased stone, I'm pretty sure they can't be used online. TPCi tends to have restrictions on what hasn't been released, similar to how previous gens had unreleased legends unable to go online till they were officially released. So that's good. I never planned to use them online anyways.
