Nintendo have announced Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for the Nintendo 3DS. They will both be released worldwide on October 12, 2013.

Is Mewtwo a clone in the games, too? I was under the impression that it was just a mew-baby whose gens were manipulated.

Serebii has found that CoroCoro confirms that it is indeed a new form, not a new Pokemon based on translation of these posters.

I don't know about you guys but I LOVE this new forme and the fact that Mewtwo is coming back and might be a main part of the story

 

Maybe because I'm a Mewtwo fanboy myself and can't live without a Mewtwo in my team but still...I really like this forme

Eww. I feel like a forme is overdue as heck. Oh well I guess I'll see how they pull the excuse on this one.

 

At least I know it won't be any better than regular Mewtwo competitive wise. I assume some stats will go up, with others falling, and Mewtwo is already offensive with balanced HP and defenses.

As for the rage,Actually a lot of people in different Pokemon forums are fine with the new form once they saw it in action in the last Pokemon Smash stream,so the rage point is pretty debatable until we see it's actual stats,nature and ability.

There needs to be a 2D sprite mode,  it's not likely, but so what. THERE NEEDS TO BE..

I'd say the same but Kyurem formes didn't grow on me. I tried .Btw nature is always dynamic. Not counting events, in which usually the set nature is due to the Pokemon being shiny. (Some PID restriction)

It can be "Hey let's see what type Sylveon is by putting her into scenarios such as acting like a ghost or karate chopping some wood thing!" and then state what her type is once and for all.

Some speculated that for gen 5 and it didn't happen. Not many complained, but then again it was probably because Zekrom/Reshiram are dragons.

I don't get that either.  I'm happy with the types we have.  Plus what would be strong against it?

The May 19th episode of Pokémon Smash is said to be a massive Pokémon X and Y special featuring Junichi Masuda with lots of information promised. It is likely that this information will be revealed in CoroCoro on Wednesday so news could be coming up very soon.

Customization seems to be exactly like POkemon Revolution. Me gusta. I still hope I can remove the glasses off the boy, or I'll be yet again playing as the chick.

The first details of CoroCoro appears to have come out. With special thanks to my friend Gin for translation. First, the Pokémon on the far right is called Gogoat (ゴーゴート literally Gohgohto) and is the Riding Pokémon. It's Grass-type, 1.7m and 91.0kg. You can actually ride this Pokémon in the field. It can learn Horn Leech

The lizard is called Elikiteru (エリキテル) and is a Electric/Normal-type. It is the Generation Pokémon and is 0.5m and 6.0kg. It has a new move called Parabola Charge which heals the user while damaging opponents. It uses solar rays to generate electricity

The bird is called Yayakoma (ヤヤコマ) and is the Japanese Robin Pokémon. It is Normal/Flying, 0.3m and 1.7kg. It announces itself with a beautiful voice. It can use the move Flame Charge

The panda is called Yancham ( ヤンチャム) and is the Naughty Pokémon. It is Fighting-type, 0.6m and 8.0kg. It has a new move called Parting Remark

There appears to be more including the game's boxarts, and the Pokédex, as well as the region map but it's not completely visible. We'll bring more as it comes so be sure to keep checking. It also promises more information on Gogoat on a later page.

The game is set in the Karos Region which appears to be based on France. You can customise your trainer slightly with hair colour and skin shade. Main city is Miare City which is where it is seen to ride Gogoat

We have the cover and it shows that these four Pokémon may be the only new ones in it. It also shows the boxart
