Oh boy here we go

Most of those are jokes once they heard something looking so innocent and cute like Jigglypuff is going to take down the menacing dragons.

Also Sylveon has potential of being amazing Eeveelutions along with every eeveelution yet to come.

The stats are divided as 65/100/130/60/95/65 (it's not Sylveons stats).

So if we go by what Sylveon could become:

HP: 65

Attack: 60

Defense: 95

Special Attack: 130

Special Defense: 65

Speed: 110

Then it just automatically out-speeds every pseudo legendary AND Haxorus

Speed of some of the dragons:

Dragonite - 80

Salamance - 100

Garchomp - 102

Hydreigon - 98

Haxorus - 97

Sylveon has potential get 110/130 speed.

It just outspeeds every psuedo-dragon type and Haxorus as well.

Dragonite with Multiscale maybe, but Sylveon would still do amazing damage. Any Pokémon can't easily take down Dragonite.

Jigglypuff and Marill are just jokes.

Gardevioir wont outspeed, even though its speed matches Dragonite.

She/he has an amazing SpA and SpD.

Also saying some Eeveelutions are bad is not true. Espeon, Vaporean, Jolteon, and Leafeon (with Clorophyll) are amazing.  Espeon is amazing, and it also got access to Magic Bounce which makes it even better. Vaporean is an amazing wall with Hydration so it has infinite Rest. Jolteon is quick and hits hard, plus hits harder in Rain with 100% accurate Thunder. Leafeon with Clorophyll in the Sun can hit hard and fast.

Glaceon is only good in hail with 100% accurate Blizzards so that makes her good too under certain circumstances.

Umbreon is an amazing wall, but been nerfed so it isn't that amazing as it used to be but it is still good.

Flareon has great stats....but needs better moves.

If we consider those stats, Sylveon could very well be the Mewtwo of this Gen xD /shot

I'm not hating Sylveon here (I actually like it a lot), I just think that Sylveon was just made to completely own OU Dragons. And with a good team, they could be taken down with somewhat ease.

And I said that most Eeveevolutions didn't have great overral stats. Most. There are exceptions, like Espeon, and Vaporeon. Just because they don't have great overral stats, doesn't mean they're bad. Just look at them xD

They're adorable xD

So in the case of Gardevoir, (I'm considering the stast you gave to Sylveon), if Gardevoir gets a Speed boost, she could fair up to Sylveon's great Speed, and with that great Sp.Atk, deal great damage. That's the big if that seperates Gardevoir from Sylveon: Speed.

New rumour~

Ima take it with a grain of salt, it's 4Chan after all.

But it does reference a lot to the other rumour that has been true so far.

Here are the Pokebeach rumours:

  • Fairy will be a new type. It is weak to Poison and Steel, immune to Dragon, super effective against Dragon, Dark, and Fighting, and Fire and Psychic-type Pokemon take half damage from it. (WPM Note: Fairy is confirmed, super effectiveness against Dragon is confirmed.)
  • Sylveon is Fairy-type. Some older Pokemon will be reclassified to Fairy, such as Mawile (Steel/Fairy). (WPM Note: Sylveon being Fairy and old Pokemon being reclassified is confirmed.)
  • Mewtwo has two new formes, not just one. Both are activated via items.
  • The professor's English name is Patrice.
  • The Starter final evolutions are Fire/Psychic, Grass/Dark, and Water/Fighting. (WPM Note: Two days later [on Monday], the source informed me he had mixed up the secondary types of Chespin and Froakie's final evolutions. This bullet point reflects the correction.)
  • The first Gym is Bug, the second is Fairy, and the fourth is Fighting. (WPM Note: First Gym being Bug is confirmed.)
  • A few attacks will be dual-typed. (WPM Note: Many people are interpreting this as an attack shooting out two types at once, but it could just be that the attack switches types under certain conditions or something like that.)
  • There will be a new type of battling style that Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon with Levitate can participate in. (WPM Note: Confirmed. He also specifically named them "Sky Battles" but I missed putting that into the original post.)
  • You will be able to see a Pokemon's EVs at a certain in-game facility. You will be able to boost the EVs through mini-games. It will take about two hours to get one stat to max EVs. (WPM Note: Gamefreak confirmed there will be greater visibility of EVs.)

  • The goat, Gogoat -> Gogoat. It's a goat that goes. No need to change the name I guess?
  • The panda, Yancham -> Panchum. Obviously "punch 'em," with the "punch" starting out as "pan" because it's a panda.
  • The bird, Yayakoma -> Fletchling. Fletching or fledgling + hatchling?
  • The "lizard," Elikiteru -> Helioptile. A heliophile is any organism attracted to sunlight, so that + reptile?
  •

  • Pancham evolves into Pangoro in the early level 30s. In order to evolve Pancham into Pangoro, you need to have one other Dark-type Pokemon in your party. Pangoro's type is Fighting/Dark.
  • A Pokemon named Inkay evolves into Malimar. To evolve it, you have to hold your 3DS upside-down when it levels up (the 3DS has an accelerometer and gyroscope, so it can detect that). Malimar's type is Dark/Psychic.
  • A Psychic-type Pokemon named Espurr (ESP + purr) evolves into Meowstick (Meow + mystic?). (Sounds like Psychic-type cats. Meowstick's name sounds too similar to Meowth to me though.)
  • Like in B/W you have two rivals - one is friendly and the other is competitive. Your rival that is more friendly gives you his/her fully evolved starter Pokemon after you beat the game.
  • Another professor named Sycamore gives you either Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle.
  • Even though it shows the player riding on a Gogoat in the new trailer, players can't ride on their own Pokemon. What was shown is just an alternate way of getting around Lumiose City and it only works with Gogoat.
  • HMs still exist but there's a lot less of them.
  • Players will be able to see their Pokemon's EVs (probably through the same in-game facility mentioned in the other post).
  • A new move, Belch, is a Poison-type attack that has a base power of 120. The user must consume a held Berry to perform it.
  • Draining Kiss is a Fairy-type attack that heals the user for the same amount of damage performed. It has a base power of 60.
  • If the previously revealed forme of Mewtwo can be said to look roughly similar to Mewtwo's original design, the second supposed form of Mewtwo can be said to look roughly/vaguely similar to Mew's design.
  • In case you missed our correction the other day, the Starters' final evolutions are Fire/Psychic, Grass/Dark, and Water/Fighting.

Also about the Pokebeach rumour that is right so far...

There are TWO professors.

Scyamore and Patrice.

I read this interesting theory on a discussion thread about the fact that since Scyamore gives you Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, that she/he might give 2 of the rivals Kanto starters?

Meaning, Tierno and Trevor gets Kanto starters, Shauna, the Player, and Serena/Calem gets Kalos Starters.

Here's the post...

I'm pretty sure it means their fully evolved Kalos starter.

Since it's the friendlier rival, I can see them having the starter you're super effective against.

I'm also slightly confident the starter giving rival is Shauna... She's said to be friendly, and I've got a feeling Serena/Calem will be your more serious rival.

So

If you picked Chespin, rival gives you Froakie's evo

If Fennekin is picked, you get Chespin's evo

and if you start with the gorgeous Froakie, you get Fennekin's evo.

now I'm just praying that their starter is female, for breeding

on the subject of the Rival-starter thing...

One idea I now have is that you, Shauna and Calem/Serena get the Kalos starters, sent by Patrice, and Trevor and Tierno have 2 of the Kanto starters, that have been sent from Sycamore.

Then you go on with them for so long, and then you meet Sycamore in person in Lumiose or wherever, and decides 'You're a strong trainer! Can you take care of this Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle for me?' and then you say yes and all that.

On how they're distributed:

Player: Fennekin - Chespin - Froakie

Serena: Froakie - Fennekin - Chespin

Shauna: Chespin - Froakie - Fennekin

Tierno: Charmander - Bulbasaur - Squirtle

Trevor: Squirtle - Charmander - Bulbasaur

If you pick Fennekin, you recieve Bulbasaur. If you pick Chespin, you get Squirtle. If you pick King Gorgeous (Froakie) you get Charmander.

This way you're super effective against 1 rival, same type as one, and weak to 2. To compensate, you could get the remaining Kanto starter early on in game. (second town, I'm thinking)

edit: I'm really glad your source is legit, some of the rumours there are nice!

Now we wait for Inkay.

Seems cool right?

I really like all of this the Pokemon with evo's need them the starter distribution is great and these ideas are overall great!

I hope that is Sylveons stats, I love her too much. xD

Yeah, but we shouldn't argue on Sylveons Stats if it hasn't been released yet. :P

I still think Sylveon is going to do her best in SpA. Her speed is probably going to be good too.

Gardevoir speed boost as in Agility? I wont count on that.

Just give Gardevoir Focus Sash and bam she wins. Her HP goes to one after a hit, then she uses her Fairy Powers to firetruck shit up.

All the Eeveelutions have the same overall base stats, 525.

It's how they use them, which stat gets how many points, and their abilities is what makes them amazing.

Eeveelutions can be devastating.

Yeah a proper team to fight Fairies could beat Sylveon, but it's not like Sylveon is the only Pokémon your team.

You have other Pokémon that you can use to counter your opponents Pokémon, it's not really a good argument since obviously every Pokémon team is going to be well-rounded to their best potential. xD

And yeah the eeveelutions are cute.

The english names were leaked too after the reveal of the Pokémon.

And it seems like it became true.

No read the previous post about the huge leak that came out 5 months ago that I saw multiple times and posted it the second time.

It's Gogoat, Helioptile, Fletchling and Pancham's English names that were leaked and they apparently were right.

AHHH! Thank you for clearing that up!

Clawturpult would be a good name for Clauncher's final evolution if there is three of them or that could be the name if Slingray isn't real.

For the first time ever in Pokémon history a brand new event has been announced: The Pokémon Game Show! The two day event will be held on August 18 – 17 in Japan, and is free of admission fees.

Fans will be able to experience the upcoming X & Y games for the first time, before they release later this year. Pokémon Tretta and the TCG will also be present at the event. More information on the event will be posted online mid-July.

Also, the official Pokémon Twitter posted the following tweet, seems like we could be getting a nice little video from a certain Mr Masuda soon!

I'd love to see Wobbuffet host a Pokemon Game show in a suit and tie. That would be amazing.

New minor details regarding Pokémon X and Y were revealed during today's World Hobby Fair. A three on three stage battle between two players was featured, with players using the Pokemon FroakieChespinFennekinGogoatHelioptile and Noivern.

Additionally, a second battle confirmed the appearance of Double Battles in X and Y. In this battle, one battler used Noivern, SpewpaLapras andHydreigon while the other used LitleoTalonflameCharizard and Lucario.

Within the battles, additional moves that would appear in the Pokemon's learnset were showcased.

It also states in Serebii that Fennekin knows Psychic. (http://www.serebii.net/xy/pokemon.shtml)

Chespin knows Roll Out.

Fennekin knows Psychic.

Froakie knows Bounce.

Is it possible for Chespin to be Grass/Rock, Fennekin to be Fire/Psychic, and Froakie to be Water/Flying?

But then again Froakie is a frog and frogs can jump so thats probably the case.

Fennekin is going to be Psychic.

Chespin I have no idea, but it could be half Rock.

If thats the case, and we go back to the reverse triangle damage thing, then Chespin COULD be Grass/Rock and Froakie could be Water/Fighting. Then it all plays out fine.

Grass beats Water. Rock beats Fire.

Water beats Fire. Fighting beats Rock.

Fire beats Grass. Psychic beats Fighting.

What do you guys think?

Plus Mr.Masuda is making a special video for X/Y, probably might appear today on Pokémon smash.
