With Kanto starters getting Mega evolutions and Charizard coming back like a champ to the competitive scene

 

I feel like if the Johto starters are being horribly ditched by everyone competitively

 

I have yet to see anyone...ANYONE....using Typhlosion,Feraligatr or Meganium

 

Even Gen 5 starters are being used way more than those three especially Serperior with the ability contrary

 

in terms of usage,the Johto starters became the worst group of starters as the time went by.

 

Now don't get me wrong I love Gen 2 it's my second favorite gen tied with Gen 6 and right behind Gen 5,but I just didn't find that much usage out any of the gen 2 starters except of Feraligatr

 

But there is a good way to fix this,by giving them Mega evolutions

 

Mega Typhlosion,Mega Feraligatr and Mega Meganium with unique typing and good abilites

 

Those three deserves Mega evos the most unlike Blaziken which was already overpowered to begin with but they just gave him a Mega evo because he's popular.

 

 

So,what do you think,do you think that the Johto starters need a Mega evolution??? and do you use at least one of the Johto starters in competitive battles

Yep their shallow, shallow movespools don't help either... Especially Meganium! They need some better options!

I actually saw someone use a Feraligatr in their team the other day. That's just about the only time I've seen a Johto starter though. lol

I was just watching a Poketuber named King Nappy using a Feraligatr in online battles alongside a Typhlosion,that was the only time I saw Johto starters in Wi Fi battles

Mega Meganium xDI love Chikorita.

I think all starters need a mega evolution since they did kanto might as well do all of them

yeah, my bro has x/y and I'd be telling him he should get gen 2, but he'll look me right in the eyes and say they suck.

Once pokemon bank comes out that will change real quic. X and Y has an incredible lack of moves available for those pokemon to be effective in battle.

The Theme for the 7th Gen is already chosen, and I'm sure they're not done yet with the Mega Evolutions, so they'll probably get one too. Not every Pokemon, but I think at least every Starter will get one... I'd really appreciate it, because I want to be able to use my fav Pokemon without losing everytime to the Megas

I hope they'll give them their Mega evolutions in the RubySapphire remake

Well, considering that Feraligatr is my second favorite Pokemon of all time(take a guess at which one is my actual favorite...), I can agree that he needs a Mega Evolution. And not just him, or Gen II starters, but basically all of the starters, including Gen VI. When that happens, I'll be one beary happy Pangoro.

Second generation is my favorite Generation and Typhlosion is my favorite pokemon but being truthfully honest i cant imagine a mega evolution suiting him so i say leave typhlosion as is
