So Nomura said that 2.5 is going to be even more polished than 1.5 was since the process is going a lot smoother.

 

Does anyone think that could include replacing most, if not all of the fish faces with actual animated ones for KH2?I really hope so.

True, but they did it with BBSFM. Not with all of them, but a pretty good amount.

 

And I really can't think of any other possible explanation to what he meant by "more" polished.

No chance. A lot of time (and money) goes into animating, and not just the faces. They'd have to animate the bodies to match, too. Plus considering that they didn't do the same for 1.5, I doubt it's much of a priority. It's alright though because the worst of it was in KH1, anyway.

They're making a completely new scene that bridges the gap between KH2 and KH3D.If I'm not mistaken, that requires animators.

Fish Faces are ok, they are funny but in an HD remaster they shouldn't be in important cutscenes like in KH 1.5 (just to give an example: Nerverland in KH 1.5 sometimes even Peter looked updated and Sora was not!) The ONLY exception is the famous fish face of Saix because it's hilarious

I really don't mind actually, as long as they don't put fish faces, where they weren't before

I don't pay attention to characters' faces that much while watching cutscenes, so it doesn't matter to me. 

Well, they weren't as bad as they were in Kingdom Hearts 1 (Kairis fish face still gives me nightmares ;_; ). I wouldn't mind if they updated them, but I doubt they will do so ( they didn't update them in 1.5, right?).
