I think it'd be pretty cool if Nintendo released an open world side game of sorts. One of my friends told me the idea, and I thought it sounded really cool. Being able to go to the gyms, maybe have a few regions, and some other goals aside from just getting badges and facing the Elite Four would be pretty cool. I'd really like it if they had some sort of multiplayer-type thing too, where you and maybe 3 other friends could all explore together, kind of like Monster Hunter's multiplayer. I think exploring a massive world, catching, and battling Pokemon with friends could make for one of my favorite games of all time. It would probably have to be on the Wii U, or Nintendo's next console if it's made next generation, but they'd possibly be able to make a 3DS version work too. After all, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate was on both systems! So, what do you guys think?

Yes. My biggest complaint with X and Y I'd there is literally nothing to do after the E4.

Yessss. That would be sweet. Gimme that and Pokemon Snap U and I will be a happy man.

I'm seriously surprised Nintendo hasn't considered making a Pokemon Snap sequel on the Wii U. The gamepad would work so well as the camera, and they could fit a lot more Pokemon in a Wii U game than they could in the N64 one.

There's a little bit to do, but yeah, it's kinda underwhelming compared to, say, Black and White. I personally found Diamond and Pearl to have the most boring postgame, though. I guess XY's kept me entertained with online features and trying to complete my Pokedex.

The only thing we need is Pokemon Bank

Exactly what I want within a Pokémon MMORPG! They said a rumoured Pokémon Plus and Minus will be open world but those two games are a rumour so its not confirmed.

I think a Pokemon MMO would be cool too, but someone pointed out to me that it would probably become too competitive, or there would be more hackers than there already are in the DS/3DS games. If Gamefreak made one though, I'd defiintely get it. I'd just hope that they'd make it stand out from other MMOs, although I don't doubt that Gamefreak can come up with a great, original idea.

More hackers? Yeah but unless the game has a great security system it will barely happen. Think Guild Wars 2 or World of Warcraft with their security system. It happens sometimes when you are not careful but they have stuff like authenticators to keep your account even more safe.

I want GameFreak to make it one way or another. And it is pretty easy, I mean come on, it is Pokémon. Other MMORPG have like weapons to kill while you have an animal to train.

I've been waiting for the day Nintendo and GF make an official PokeMMO. Open World 3D on the Wii U, online multiplayer...Nintendo could do more than benefit from it.

Platinum fixed a lot of the postgame stuff in Gen 4.

A Pokemon MMO game that's as big as WoW, I cannot even think of the epicness as of now.

Traveling with Darkrai on my side... I can see it now.

If it had a better security system, then I'd feel a lot better about it. I'm more worried about people making hacked teams though, or hacking the servers and screwing everyone over. I'd still end up buying a Pokemon MMO if it was made though.

I don't remember too much being added to Platinum, aside from a couple legendaries and the Battle Frontier. Maybe I'm just too spoiled by Silver's postgame. xD That, and DPP's engine always felt too slow to me, so going through the postgame wasn't as fun for me.
