Aside from seeing Zack in Birth by Sleep,how long has it been since FF characters were part of the main story of the Kingdom Hearts series??

 

Last time I checked,KH2 was the last time they had any relevance to the main plot...after that they went poof out of existence

 

Nomura can't just forget them

 

It'll be so jarring if we went back to Radiant Garden in KH3 but Leon and the others somehow completely disappeared out of the story even though they're the ones in charge of Radiant Garden Restoration committee 

 

We still don't know what happened to Cloud after he disappeared with Sephiroth in KH2

 

Leon(Squall) got a message that has Rinoa's logo on it

 

And other things that I still want to know about them

 

You can't tell me that Master Xehanort and his clones will attack Radiant Garden without a single Final Fantasy character trying to protect it

 

And while this is a personal sick wish of mine,but I want Aerith's death scene to be reenacted again in KH3 but instead of Sephiroth, Xehanort or Ansem SoD stabs Aerith from behind turning her into a heartless.....At least that would give Nomura a reason to make Cloud a party member for Radiant Garden only if possible,heck Auron from FFX was a party member in the Underworld section of Olympus Colosseum in KH2

 

 

Also,it's so obvious at this point that Square is gonna put Lightning in the game one way or another

 

 

And before you say FF characters should only have their little insignificant roles of being just cameos,let me remind you....this is supposed to be a DisneySquare crossover....and only two games in the series have shown that which are KH1 and KH2 and maybe DDD with The World Ends with You characters.

 

It won't hurt them if they made FF characters more helpful for Sora and his friends

 

I mean for God's sake Mickey despite being a little mouse can wield the Keyblade,but a veteran warrior whose's been fighting with a giant sword for years can't have one?

 

If Mickey can kick ass like a boss,why can't at least one FF character have a similar role in the story as Mickey,they don't have to be Kings like Mickey,it won't kill anyone if a FF character got a keyblade and heshe doesn't have to be part of the 7 lights or XIII darknesses 

 

 

Then again,Toriyama would beg Nomura and kiss his boots to make Lightning one of them just to shove her everywhere he could

They were as important as they needed to be in the MAIN games. 358 didn't need them, Coded didn't need them and DDD didn't need them. Once we start getting down to it in KHIII, they'll return in full strength, I guarantee you that.

I think it's fine just the way it was in KH II. 

I wouldn't want an FF character to have a Keyblade because they all have their own iconic weapons already and they seem to kill heartless just fine, if only temporarily. I would however like to see Cid fight in KH III As he is the only member of the Restoration Comity who hasn't been seen in combat yet.

Ah alright. Still not sure how I would feel about that, but I guess it could work.

Also, on the whole weapons issue, it just wouldn't be the same if Cloud didn't have his Buster Sword or if Leon didn't have his Gunblade. I really don't think that them having Keyblades is necessary. Mickey has one because he wouldn't have a weapon if he didn't have a Keyblade. The FF gang has their own stuff.

In my opinion, the Final Fantasy characters should indeed have important roles in the series, but they should implement their importance in the numbered games, as Kaweebo said, they weren't needed in Days, ReCoded or KH3D, but rest assured that by KH3 the Final Fantasy ensemble will be back.  Because in all honesty, it would be quite pointless if Leon and the gang weren't in Radiant Garden, since they were living there by the end of KH2, and Cloud's story has yet to be resolved.  And I honestly prefer for the Final Fantasy cast to keep their own weapons.  There's no denying that them wielding Keyblades would be badass, but they already have their iconic weapons, so let's just leave them as they are.  But yeah, I really hope the Final Fantasy characters come back in KH3!

I definitely want to see lightning in kh3 and maybe even have caius as an optional boss. I also want to see the final fantasy crew become a more important aspect of the game (not just because I want to see cloud and sora fighting alongside in a super awesome cutscene). Although I don't think they need keyblades, because they're pretty good with the weapons they already have. And I don't want to have to suffer through aerith's death again.

Well, that is a good point you make there.  The question of why a young Leon and crew in Birth By Sleep was missing is interesting, since they moved to Traverse Town a year after the events of Birth By Sleep.  Interesting indeed. O.o

I already said that. The FF characters have iconic weapons, Mickey didn't.

Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, Cid, Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Yuna, Rikku, Paine, Tidus, Wakka and Selphie all must play a role. We better also see Princess Ashe, Balthier and Lightning.

I am pretty sure that Lightning ,or whetever the name is, will be in KH3 . Now about the others , I don't think they are so important . I mean the game focuses on Disney characters and the KH original characters . Leon and the others played a big role in KH1 . Isn't that enough ? Cloud and Sephiroth have "their own problems to deal with " .I think we should just stick to Mickey and the others . 

Final Fantasy characters have their own games. They don't need a larger role in KH.

I like the way they are in KH1&2. Like somebody said earlier, they weren't really necessary in the side games, but I'm almost certain they'll be in KH3.

I think it's good they don't have too big roles, since for me they have been more like a nice plus. They make the game more interesting, but I really wouldn't like the idea of Cloud having a keyblade or something...

But I deifintely want them back, and it would like to see new FF-characters too! I'm not too enthusiastic about Lightning, but I would die of joy if Vanille&Fang were there (

I doubt it...), and Ashe would also be cool.

And more Tifa...

yes please more Tifa, and conclude Clouds little side plot. thats all i want really

 

but please for gods sake do not add Lightning. I'm sick of seeing her everywhere I look when I want anything remotely FINAL FANTASY related.
