So I've been out of Kingdom Hearts commission for a while, I know they released 1.5 ReMix (which I didn't get cause I just got 1) and is going to do the same with 2.5 ReMix but is the next game after that Kingdom Hearts 3?

 

I remember a while back it was gonna be three more games until Kingdom Hearts 3 and then DDD released.

 

I started getting my ass in motion and playing Kingdom Hearts 1 for the first time ever.

The only title that has been announced to be released after HD 2.5 ReMIX is Kingdom Hearts III. Kingdom Hearts Online could be released on Smartphones and Tablets if we believe a former Disney person.

Kingdom Hearts Online? that's something I haven't heard about. but on phones and tablets...... doesn't sound very appealing.

Yeah, it hasn't been announced it's only something a former Disney person spoke of in an interview. They already tried the whole web browser based game with Kingdom Hearts X[chi] so the logical next step is Smartphones and Tablets.

It is a spin-off game. It has as much to do with Kingdom Hearts III as an interview or book.

Nomura's said no more "side" games until KH3, so after the final ReMIX I don't think there will be another game until KH3, unless they count Chi or Online as one

You can make a Japanese yahoo account and sign up for free.  It's a point and click game that seems like it's set in the keyblade wars.  Nomura has announced a while ago that it will tie into KH3.  

 

"However, it was revealed that the only notable piece of information would be that of a single passage within the Foreteller's Script.

For those unaware, the Foretellers are a group of 5 mysterious beings, each appearing as the figurehead of the union the player would choose to fight for upon beginning their adventure. At first glance, it was assumed they would not play a significant role in the story, but with the reveal of this passage, it appears that there's more to them than meets the eye."

There is a story to it, but it's only in Japanese so other than that, you pretty much get a few missions (defeat x heartless, open x chests, collect x items) and you just complete them to  be awarded with cards (you use a deck), withdraw cards (to get more from the moogle shop), munny, items etc.

 

It's an energy based game too so after a certain amount of points are used up (you start with 50 and get one for each person in your party up to 79) you have to wait for them to refill like a facebook game.

No one's forcing you, or anyone else to play it.  Just leaving instructions in case you want to give it a go.  It's not a life time commitment.  

Nah , I don't really think we will see any more games after 2.5 . Square Enix might just do something with Kingdom Hearts Online but that's it . 

What if Kingdom Hearts Online is a part of KH3? It's just being developed by square enix in Seoul.

Well, this is definitely a tricky thing to predict, since Nomura had promised a Kingdom Hearts game each year, and considering that the final HD Remix is coming out this year, it's uncertain what will be Square's next move.  Nomura clearly said that Dream Drop Distance would be the last spin off game before Kingdom Hearts 3, but my guess is that Nomura maybe makes a stateside release of Kingdom Hearts X for next year, leaving Kingdom Hearts 3 for 2016.  But if KHX wouldn't make it here, then I would have to place my bet on Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out at least by the final half of next year.  In the end, it's all up to Nomura.
