Have you ever met anyone who has played Kingdom Hearts and disliked it?

Posted

Once there was a man who said KH sucks and I said "you haven't even played it" and he said "yes I did", but he didn't play it long enough to know what was going on so I would go with No for this one.

Yes...a couple of people

I played it and disliked it

The title alone is a big turn off for most people. Not to mention  the Disney characters. Most people look at it like a kids game, and that alone. When they do give it a try it's usually by force, or by the influence. Not by there choice. Thus, they enter it close-minded and they do not open up, and see the joys it comes with.

It could be any Kingdom Hearts game, but the guy I mentioned didn't even know which one he played

Not really but what really bothers me are ignorant people who keep calling it Kingdom of Hearts and then sayings they dislike it.

yep, and I didn't care.

My dad calls it King of Hearts which I despise so much and then he makes fun of it when he knows nothing about it, he doesn't even know the real name even though I told him it was Kingdom Hearts not King of Hearts

Yes.  I've met a few who said they didn't like it cause "it ruined their childhood".  Like the way people hold precious nostalgia for things like cartoons and Disney movies, they don't want to see it changed or portrayed differently from what they liked.  (tbh I'm like this with the Tinkerbelle movies, while I watch them, she'll also be a silent ill tempered pixie to me)

Yup. If it's a friend I'm like meh whatever but if it's someone else I'm like owo Especailly if they judge it by the cover or if they didn't bother finishing it. Because that's how I felt when I originally saw KH but then I actually tried playing it and here I am with pictures of the game taped to my wall x'D

a friend of mine tried KH 2 once, he said the intro (the part with Roxy) was too damn long but he didn't say he disliked it, he said it was awesome. so, no.

I don't judge the cover... I judge the commercial

I dunno I was going by how I found KH. In the marked down section of Gamestop.

They call it "Gay" because of the Disney characters but there are a few that like it and I love those guys like blood Brothers

I would say "only a gay person calls something gay"

And I think the old definition of "gay" describes Disney characters quite well. And I never met someone who has disliked the KH series as a whole.

I have a friend who despises the series as a whole, and he's played several titles from the series. I tease him a lot with Leonard Nimoy though because he's a huge Star Trek fan and definitely hates the fact that his favorite actor from the series is playing the main villain of the series so far.
