- Re:Coded is being developed to allow more fans to experience the game, the DS was selected as most people have the hardware.

- Another reason for the hardware choice is that Coded was developed with the lack of analog in mind.

- The story will be the same as Coded, but aside from the event scenes the game will see many major changes.

- The game is targeting more casual gamers, and will have an adjustable difficulty setting like The World Ends With You.

- The design concept for Re:Coded includes elements from Coded with Birth by Sleep and Days.

- The co-director of Birth by Sleep is supervising the battle planning for the game, while the same team will be handling the map design.

- The level up system in the game will be an expansion of the ideas from 358 Days

- There will be multiplayer elements, including avatars which can be unlocked featuring the characters from Birth by Sleep, as well as Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII.

- There will be a secret movie in the game.

- Currently 80% complete.

 

Re:coded's sounding better by the day, I can't wait to play it. I thought there would be a secret ending, considering Re:coded's gonna have various hints to KH 3D in it i'd say it will be a secret ending based on/hinting at 3D.

If Re:coded's combining various elements from Days, BbS and putting them in the game it's likely they'll include at least one Limit Break.

I'm suprised they're that far in development, it might even release before BbS with a bit of luck.

No way will it be released before BBS English.

Well so far, the trailer at E3 only had Jiminey Cricket talking. I don't think they have gotton Haley Joel Osmet, or king mickey's voice actors yet. So maybe they are still voice recording. This sounds good to! Secret movie? Maybe to Kingdom hearts 3? or 3D?

I think Mickey has been voiced, though I don't remember where I heard that so don't quote me.

I'm getting real excited for Re:Coded. I'm assuming since the game is at 80% completion that they'll finish up everything by the end of summer (which ends in September), apply the finishing touches throughout fall and have it released by winter season. I'm hoping that they shoot for an early December date so that it'll be under everyone's tree come Christmas.

It would be awesome if you can play as alot of characters like in 358/2 Days. and Avatars? Sweet, hopefully like Moblie or even better!

Now if only Square would release a HQ version of the trailer at E3...

Does this mean there will multiplayer in Re:Coded? And what do they mean with Avatars?

A secret movie? Hope it's a new one and not the Riku at the cloaktower scene...

Aqua will hopefully be playable in multiplayer.

Now that all of this info is coming out, I actually want to buy this game now.

An 80% complete game that most likely be completed at the end of this summer released a year after it's finished? I don't think so. Like rho said, late December/ early January is the most likely release date.

It is coming out this fall in Japan. About the avatars, they're just pictures to customize your profile for multiplayer.

I'm guessing they're putting Lightning in Re: Coded for not putting her in Dissidia. At that time, FFXIII wasn't released yet.

Really, it doesn't say that she's an unlockable character at all. The word 'avatars' is right there. It's pretty clear.

I think most people have just mis-read it is all, but i'm pretty sure they wont end up featuring her as a character in whatever form of Multiplayer they have, although it would be pretty awesome.
