FINAL FANTASY VI is now finally available on Android. So, what now?

FINAL FANTASY VI for iOS.

FINAL FANTASY II, IV, V, IV: The After Years & VI for Windows Phone.

FINAL FANTASY IX for PC.

FINAL FANTASY XII HD Remaster for PS3 & PS Vita (includes International version content and Revenant Wings covered as cutscenes)

LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII, FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster and FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn are already locked in for their respective releases.

FINAL FANTASY XV for PS4 & Xbox One.

FINAL FANTASY X-3 for PS4 & PS Vita.

FINAL FANTASY VII, VIII & IX for iOS, Android & Windows Phone.

My predictions:

FINAL FANTASY: The Ultimate Collection (I-VI including The After Years) for PC.

HD remasters of Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus for PS4 & PS Vita.

FINAL FANTASY XV-2 for PS4 & Xbox One.

FINAL FANTASY VII for PS4.

FINAL FANTASY XVI for PS4 and Xbox One.

FINAL FANTASY XVII for PS5.

That would be a waste of square enix's time and money. They've remade the games countless times and everyone likes them as they are.

Hardly.

Plenty of people want 3D remakes of V and VI.

Plenty of people want the 3D remake of The After Years ported to the handhelds.

-Interlude- is only available on the PSP.

The only versions of V and VI on consoles are the crappy PSOne and GBA versions. And the later isn't available digitally.

They should take them- and throw 'em to the curb until we get FINAL FANTASY XV!!

Different teams....

Hardly.

There is the SNES version of FFVI in case you didn't know, and that is available digitally on WiiWare

The only ones I'd get are 3DS remakes of FFV/VI. :/

No- all the teams have to come together and focus on Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV already

I totally agree!

yeah, and why does he want them to be on cell phones? They aren't very powerful and square enix would charge as much as a 3ds game for it. Even I only pay up to $6 on a mobile game.

I've never bought a phone app, seems like a waste of money to me. :/

Cell phones? LOL. I'm talking about iOS and Android, which are more powerful than the 3DS. And no they wouldn't. They'd charge the same amount they charge for The After Years on it.

Yeah, no one even buys them. Square wastes their time and money on something that doesn't even have buttons. That being said I have my phone with me more often than I do my 3ds, so It's nice to play a couple cheap or free little games to pass the time.

Fool They should move on. How bad is it that a company would have to rely on releasing old games to get sales. Square Enix should be doing the next big things.

No one buys them? LOL. They're some of the highest selling games on the iTunes and Google Play stores. Every FF game on the Google Play store alone has sold 100,000 to 500,000 each.

No, they wouldn't. They charge $18 for TWEWY, a game that is 6 years old. It would also take too much of a phones memory.

Every one I know has played the ds or gba versions. Go look at the sales figures for all of the other versions of the games.

Meh, I personally don't find there to really be any entertaining phone games out there. :/ I carry my 3DS with me often, anyway.

then you've never played the world ends with you on iOS

then you've never played the world ends with you on iOS

he already has it on ds

A. Don't use Apple devices

B. Have it on DS and love it.

96, I promise you a 3ds version would sell much more. The phone app would be the same price and would take up too much memory, no one would f*cking want that. And you seem to not like playing video games very much, because I've never once seen you have opinions of the gameplay of a video game.

No it wouldn't. The 3D version of The After Years costs $16.99. On 3DS and Vita it would cost at least double that. Definitely more in Australia.

Too much memory? Lol. I've got the first three and I've still got tons of space on my smartphone and that's without using my smartphone's SD card.

Yeah, and Nintendo won't support GBA and DS games on the Nintendo eShop.

And in case you didn't notice, I didn't mention III or IV on the 3DS since the DS versions are fine.

They're about to for the Wii U. I'm talking about 3d remakes, and V and VI are MUCH larger games than the first 3, think about that completely remade in 3d with voice acting.

Actually it would be the same price, considering it would be on the 3ds eshop and psn.

IV and The After Years have no issues space wise. And neither do the 2D versions of V and VI. And in terms of space, this is exactly why Square Enix aren't porting VII to iOS and Android yet.

the 2d versions have no issues, but we're talking about a full remake

And as I said, IV and The After Years had no issues.

IV is a quick port of a ds game, ds carts have very small space
