It's time for me to get a new phone (Flaming Lea I still need your number ;) ).  I currently have an LG slider that runs Android, and because I'm with a certain provider I can only get an iPhone or another Android, which isn't likely.  Why?  The same reason I need a new one.  I tired to get the Rhonna Designs Android app, but it required a newer OS and my phone won't update.  However I like using the keypad and iPhones don't have that.  What do you think?  Should I get an iPhone or stick with Android?

Androids have more features but they crash ALOT.

iPhones are slightly faster and has more offical apps.

I'd honestly choose an iPhone.I hate when things crash PC,PS3, and (in this case),phones.

If you like the feel of extreme high-quality, get an iPhone. It's insane how good the aluminum casing feels in your hand compared to a piece of plastic like the high-end android phones.

And they sell black/white bluetooth keyboard cases for the iPhone that are ultra slim if you feel like you'd need it.

I've had both android and iPhone, and imo, the iPhone wins by miles. Millions of 'em.

If you like big phones, then the upcoming Galaxy S5 is the way to go or get the Xperia Z. Google Nexus 5 is great if you don't mind the camera being slightly low quality.

If you like a smaller phone, the iPhone is just great for you.

It depends on how comfortable you want to use your phone and fits with your hand nicely. Getting a 3rd party keyboard for your phone can be a little bit janky since it's hard to find phones with a qwerty keyboard nowadays.

In terms of casually using it, either phone devices works fine but if you like downloading apps here and there like some apple-only games, the iPhone is better.

I would wait for the Galaxy S5 and see how it'll be when it comes out in a few months or get the iPhone 5s right now for some simplicity features yet a high quality one.

OR!

Get this. =D

I made a switch from iPhone to Android (Sony Xperia Z1) aside from the camera and bigger screen, pretty much everything else was better on iPhone, including reliability.

Although my iPhone broke because I dropped it down the toilet and apparently my new phone is water proof... Haven't tried dropping it down the toilet yet but - there's that I suppose.

I know!  It seems like Facebook crashes every time I do anything.

Wow.  Thanks.  I will keep that in mind.

I've seen those big phones and I'm not a fan.  I want a phone that will fit in my pocket.

Thanks for your input.  Think I'm gonna go with the iPhone.

I'm normally a big android fan, but I can understand if you want to go for iPhone series. I still suggest waiting until Summer, because a lot of new phones are coming out during that time, so it could be worth it if you wait a little longer.

As for my input, if you want simplicity, get iPhone series, but stay away from the C series. Come on, a plastic shell case and a moderate processor? I just wait till iPhone 6 comes out, or get 5s.

If you are wanting to stay on android for sake of customization and all kinds of goodies, wait a little longer, and you will be facing four choices.

Galaxy S5-supposed to be the fastest of all phones this year, geared towards health, improved camera, 16mp, Full HD, 5.1 inch screen, and ultra power save mode for when sh!t gets real. Waterproof and Dustproof and will give a metal, but plastic feeling. option for 8-cores is available for crazy speed.

Sony Xperia Z2- Waterproof, I think it's metal but I'm not sure, pretty fast, Full HD, phone's a lil small but it can be good for you depending, longer battery life, and camera's pretty good.

HTC M8-little info about it, wait till March 25, to get full details.

LG G Pro 2- the hybrid Phone/Tablet. Larger phone, bigger screen, Longest battery life of the 4 phones, Full HD, 13MP camera, and screen may not be as good as Galaxy S5, but gets the job done.

More info about the phones in the web, like I said, it's up to you, Simplicity=iPhone, Advanced=Android. I'm personally stuck between Samsung and LG, and I normally go for samsung, but I'm thinking about a change of pace.

Thanks for your input.  Here's the thing however:  I want my phone, to pretty much be a phone.  I need it to make calls, have 3G access Facebook/Instagram/internet, have a camera, and fit in my pocket.  I'm not even going to put music on it.  I have an iPod for that.  I don't have time for all the rooting stuff and I deal with computers enough as it is for school.  And I would like the iPhone 5C because I want my phone to be a color I like.

I understand that. If you can't wait, go for it, but if you can, wait till iPhone 6 is announced.
