So, has anyone else ever considering the following?

 

Zack Fair = Sora

 

Aerith Gainsborough = Kairi

 

Cloud Strife = Riku

 

At first, I thought it was just a coincidence.  Now, I'm starting to have doubts....

Meh, I don't find this to be a coincidence at all. Especially since there are other video game/anime characters that have a similiar personality.

Zack died but Sora didn't

 

Aerith died but Kairi didn't

 

Cloud doesn't betray us like Riku did in fact Riku is more similar to Kain Highwind from FFIV than cloud....even though Kain is more awesome than Riku

 

It's not coincidence or anything,and if there is it's expected as all of them were designed by Tetsuya Nomura

Sora will never be equal to Zack Fair, nor will any other video game character for that matter

So, Sora and Kairi will die?

I mean Sora and Zack Fair are similar but not congruent. 

Sora is not blinded by pride like Zack. 

And no, Riku is not like Cloud at all.

I know this wll never happen, and I know I'll probably get a lot of hate for saying this, but I think this would actually be a pretty good plot twist for KH3. It would be really dramatic, and it would be interesting seeing how the other characters (especially Riku, since he's really close to both of them) would react.

Hmm, I don't think I see very much of a similarity between these characters except for their genders and slight personality similarities.  Cloud, Aerith, and Zack aren't even the three main characters of the game, as there's also Tifa, Barrett, Cid, and a few others which hold just as much significance as those three.  And, actually, Zack is hardly even mentioned in FF7 and hardly could be considered a main character, so he doesn't hold the role of Sora.

Sora and Riku don't have the same relationship that Cloud and Zack had and Kairi is nothing compare to Aerith
